Courtesy of Eurobasket LLC Here is the weekly review of the top performing Catamounts alumni, who are currently playing in pro basketball.
#1. Bernard Pelote (6'8''-F-2002, played in 2022-25, plays pro in Germany) led Tigers Tuebingen to a victory over the 14th-ranked Koblenz (2-5) 90-76 in the German ProA (second division) last Sunday. He was MVP of the game. Pelote scored 27 points (!!!) and grabbed 7 rebounds in 30 minutes; quite an impressive performance considering it's only his first season in pro basketball. Tigers Tuebingenis placed ninth in the ProA. It's Pelote's first year with the team. Pelote has individually a very good season with high stats. He averages 15.1ppg, 3.6rpg and 1.3spg in seven games he played so far.
#2. Marc Gosselin (6'7''-F-1996, played in 2015-19, plays in France) was the major contributor in a 1-point Saint Thomas Basket Le Havre's victory against the sixth-ranked SO Maritime Boulogne (7-4) 75-74 in the French NM1 (third division) on Tuesday night. He recorded 16 points and grabbed 4 rebounds. Saint Thomas Basket Le Havre (10-1) is placed first in Group B. It was his team's tenth consecutive victory in a row. Harris was MVP of the game. He had a double-double by scoring 31 points and getting 10 rebounds. Harris also added 3 assists in 28 minutes; not bad, considering it's only his second season in pro basketball. ACO Basket Oulun (5-0) is placed first in the 1st Division A. So far his team won all five games in the Regular Season. But this is still an early stage of the season and everything may happen. Despite Jackson's good performance the bottom-ranked Miasto Szkla Krosno was defeated 85-81 on the road by the much higher-ranked Czarni (#5). He scored 10 points and added 3 passes. But the season just started, so everything may happen. This year Jackson averages 10.0ppg, 4.0rpg, 3.5apg and 1.3spg.
