Florida Gators repeat NCAA Champions

The Florida Gators are the first team since 1991-92 to repeat as National Champions. Florida just simply outclassed Ohio State to an easy 84-75 victory. All night Florida made big three point shots when it counted and finished with 10 of 18 shooting beyond the arch. Unfortunately Ohio State shot a horrible 4 of 23 from the 3 point line and got out hustled for most of the loose balls all night. The atmosphere in the Georgia Dome was sensational. The noise was like a college football game since there were over 55,000 people in attendance. On the way to the Dome you could feel the vibes and see the fans partying at Centennial Park. The game began with a lot of unnecessary fouls called by the officials. Florida held a 17-13 lead at the 10:51 mark. Florida was lighting up the perimeter with three pointers to open a 33-22 lead with 3:41 left in the half. Ohio State looked lost and Greg Oden (7'0''-C-88) was the only offensive weapon in the first half. Corey Brewer (6'9''-F) and Taurean Green (6'0''-G) led the Gators to 40-29 halftime lead. In the second half the teams just traded baskets and Florida always maintained control of the game. Ohio State made several runs but Florida always made a bucket to keep their distance. Greg Oden played a great game as he scored 23 points and had 12 rebounds and block a lot of shots during the night. Florida had a balance scoring attack with four players in double figures. Corey Brewer was named the NCAA Final Four Tournament's MVP.
