#1. Omari Moore, a 6'6'' shooting guard who graduated from SJSU in 2023 and received the All-MWC Player of the Year award, is currently showcasing his talents as a professional player in Spain. Recently, he led Valencia Basket to a resounding 105-81 victory over the 16th-ranked Gran Canaria in the Spanish Liga Endesa, where he was named the MVP of the game. Moore's stellar performance included scoring 21 points and distributing 4 assists in just 22 minutes of play, highlighting his exceptional skills on the court. Despite being in only his third season in professional basketball, Moore's impact was undeniable, contributing significantly to his team's success. Valencia Basket, currently holding the second position in the league with a record of 25-9, has been on a winning streak, securing their fifth consecutive victory. With only two games remaining in the Regular Season, every match becomes crucial for the team's standings. Moore's consistent performance throughout the season, averaging 8.9 points, 2.5 rebounds, and 2.6 assists per game, exemplifies his value to the team and underscores his role as a true champion on the court. Furthermore, it's worth noting that Moore is a naturalized American player, bringing his skills and determination to the professional basketball scene in Spain. His recent standout performance against Gran Canaria further solidified his reputation as a finalist who excels under pressure and leads his team to victory.
#2. Spanish champion Alvaro Cardenas, a 6'1'' point guard aged 24, is an alum of the Broncos from 2025, having played for SJSU between 2021 and 2024, and currently plays professionally in Spain. The game ended in a dominant 105-81 victory for their team, with Cardenas contributing significantly by scoring 8 points, grabbing 2 rebounds, and providing 1 assist in just 20 minutes of play. His stellar performance not only helped secure the win but also highlighted his basketball skills, further solidifying his status as a champion.
