Nighael Ceaser, a 26-year-old forward standing at 6'8'' and a graduate of Texas St. in 2023, currently playing professionally in Romania, displayed his prowess on the basketball court by leading Cluj Napoca to a thrilling 88-83 victory over the league leader Oradea (23-5) in the Romanian Liga Nationala Baschet de Masculin. In a game that was highly anticipated as a clash between two top 3 ranked teams in the Joins LN second stage group, Ceaser shined by contributing 12 points and 6 rebounds in just 18 minutes of play. This standout performance not only helped Cluj Napoca emerge victorious but also solidified Ceaser's reputation as a champion. His remarkable skills and contributions were instrumental in securing the important win for his team. As a key player for U-Banca Transilvania Cluj Napoca, who currently sits atop the Joins LN second stage group, Ceaser's impact on the court has been undeniable. Throughout the season, Ceaser has maintained solid averages of 8.6 points, 6.6 rebounds, and 1.3 assists per game, further establishing himself as a formidable presence in the league. His consistent performance and leadership qualities exemplify his status as a finalist.
#2. Isiah Small, a 6'8'' forward who is 27 years old and an alumnus of the Bobcats from 2022, played a crucial role in helping them secure the Sun Belt Regular Season Champion title that year. Currently playing professionally in New Zealand, Small recently suited up for the Manawatu Jets but unfortunately could not lead them to victory in their game last Friday. Despite his stellar performance, the Jets were defeated 100-93 on the road by the second-ranked Rams. During the game, Small showcased his skills by recording an impressive double-double, scoring 23 points and grabbing 15 rebounds. He also contributed 5 assists and 3 blocks in the 40 minutes he played on the court. Despite his outstanding individual performance, the Jets fell short against the Rams. Nevertheless, Small's exceptional display earned him the Triple-Double Badge from eurobasket.com, acknowledging his prowess as a champion player. Throughout the season, Small has maintained high statistics, averaging 18.0 points per game, 13.0 rebounds per game, 4.7 assists per game, and 1.3 blocks per game. His consistent performance and remarkable contributions demonstrate his value as a finalist player in the league.
#3. Tylan Pope, a 6'6'' forward who graduated from Texas St. in 2025 and received the All-Sun Belt Second Team award that year, is currently playing professionally in Germany. Recently, he led Bozic Estriche Knights Kirchheim to a convincing victory against the closely-ranked 46ers with a score of 91-75 in the German BARMER 2. Basketball Bundesliga ProA (second division) on Saturday night. In this game, Pope showcased his skills by recording a double-double, scoring 13 points and grabbing an impressive 15 rebounds. Additionally, he contributed 4 blocks and 3 steals during his 30 minutes on the court. Bozic Estriche Knights Kirchheim, currently placed sixth in the league with a record of 20-14, benefited greatly from Pope's stellar performance. Against the Giessen 46ers, Pope displayed his versatility by scoring 13 points, securing 15 rebounds, and providing 1 assist to help his team secure the victory. #4. Tyrel Morgan, a 6'5'' forward who is 25 years old and an alumnus of the Bobcats from 2025, currently plays professionally in Germany. In a recent game, he was a teammate of the previously mentioned Tylan Pope, and they both competed together in the latest German BARMER 2. Basketball Bundesliga ProA game. Morgan made a significant contribution to their team's easy victory against the closely-ranked 46ers with a score of 91-75. Despite playing for just 13 minutes, he managed to score 7 points and grab 2 rebounds. His performance, including the 7 points and 2 rebounds against the Giessen 46ers, was instrumental in helping his team secure the victory and emerge as the champion of the game. Throughout this season, Morgan has been maintaining solid averages of 8.8 points per game, 5.9 rebounds per game, and 1.1 assists per game.
