John Meeks (6'6''-SF-1999, played in 2017-21, plays pro in Turkey) led Galatasaray Ekmas Istanbul to a victory over the 13th-ranked Mersin Spor (1-2) 85-79 in the Turkish BSL in Sunday night's game. He was MVP of the game. Meeks recorded 25 points in 24 minutes. Galatasaray Ekmas Istanbul (4-3) is placed seventh in the BSL. #2. Stephen Brown Jr. (5'11''-PG-1996, played in 2014-18, plays in Greece) was the major contributor in PAOK's victory against the closely-ranked Anwil (2-3) 104-96 in the FIBA Europe Cup last Wednesday. Brown Jr. scored 20 points and added 9 assists. It was the game of the round between two top 4 ranked teams. PAOK Mateco Thessaloniki (4-1) is placed second in the FIBA Europe Cup. #3. Andrew Funk (6'5''-G-1999, played in 2018-22, currently in Belgium) contributed to a 3-point Windrose Giants Antwerp's victory against the closely-ranked Okapi Aalst (5-3) 106-103 in the BNXT League on Friday night. Funk recorded 17 points and grabbed 4 rebounds in 32 minutes; quite an impressive performance considering it's only his third season in pro basketball. Windrose Giants Antwerp (6-1) is placed third in the BNXT League. It was his team's fifth consecutive victory in a row. But the season just started, so everything may happen. Funk has relatively good stats this year 11.9ppg, 3.0rpg and 2.3apg in seven games.
#4. Xander Rice (6'3''-G-2001, played in 2019-23, plays pro in Denmark) was the main contributor in Randers' victory against the closely-ranked Horsens IC (8-1) 89-76 in the Danish BasketLigaen in Thursday night's game. Rice was MVP of the game. He scored 19 points; not bad, considering it's only Rice's second season in pro basketball. It was the game of the round between two top 4 ranked teams. Randers Cimbria Basketball (7-2) is placed fourth in the BasketLigaen. Rice has relatively good stats this season 14.7ppg, 2.0rpg and 3.9apg.

Sestina recorded only 3 points in 13 minutes. AX Armani Exchange Milano (5-5) is placed 12th in the Euroleague. It was his team's third consecutive victory in a row.
