Every week we bring you a list of the top former Terriers players who continue their career in pro basketball.

#1. Javante McCoy, a 6'5'' guard who graduated from Boston University in 2022, is currently playing professionally in Israel. Despite his team, E.Netanya, suffering a tough loss in their last game against Hapoel Jerusalem, McCoy stood out as the top scorer with 28 points and contributed 5 rebounds in just 28 minutes of play. With only three games remaining in the Regular Season, each match becomes increasingly crucial for the team. This marks McCoy's first season with E.Netanya, and he has been showcasing his skills with an average of 14.8 points, 3.7 rebounds, and 1.5 assists per game in the six games he has played so far. Despite the challenging defeat in the recent game, McCoy's performance continues to demonstrate his capabilities as a champion player.

#2. Sukhmail Mathon, a towering 6'10'' center and 28-year-old Terriers alum from the class of 2022, has been making waves in the professional basketball scene in Slovenia. Recently honored with the All-Patriot League Player of the Year award, Mathon now plays for Krka Novo Mesto in the Slovenian Liga OTP banka. In a thrilling match last Sunday, Mathon played a pivotal role in Krka's victory over the sixth-ranked Hopsi Polzela with a score of 86-80. Despite facing a tough opponent, Mathon showcased his skills by scoring 9 points, grabbing 7 rebounds, and making 3 crucial blocks in just 28 minutes of play. His stellar performance was instrumental in securing the win for Krka, who currently holds the top spot in the league with an impressive record of 26-1, marking their 26th consecutive victory. This season marks Mathon's debut with Krka, and he has been consistently delivering strong performances on the court. With an average of 11.1 points, 4.5 rebounds, and 1.7 assists per game in 26 appearances, Mathon has proven to be a valuable asset to his team. Against Hopsi Polzela, Mathon's standout display not only highlighted his individual talent but also played a significant role in leading his team to triumph as the champion. His contributions as a finalist were crucial in securing the victory and maintaining Krka's impressive winning streak.

#3. Experienced champion John Holland, a 6'5'' small forward aged 37 and a Boston University graduate from the class of 2011, currently showcases his skills playing professionally in Puerto Rico. In a recent match, despite delivering a strong performance, the third-placed Santeros de Aguada (9-8) fell short on the road against the second-ranked Capitanes in Group A, with a final score of 81-92. In this game, Holland emerged as the team's second-best scorer, tallying 12 points and contributing 5 rebounds within 20 minutes of play. Unfortunately, this defeat marked Santeros de Aguada's fourth consecutive loss. Notably, Holland displayed his capabilities in a previous game against Arecibo, where he notched 12 points, 5 rebounds, and 2 assists. Despite his remarkable individual efforts, the team was unable to secure a victory. Throughout the current season, the champion has maintained an average of 8.3 points, 2.3 rebounds, and 1.5 assists per game across six appearances. It is also pertinent to mention that Holland holds dual American and Puerto Rican citizenship, enabling him to compete in Puerto Rico as a domestic player.

#4. Justin Alston, a 31-year-old former Terriers alumni from 2017 standing at 6'8'' and playing as a forward/center, currently competes professionally in Turkey. Despite scoring only 2 points in 8 minutes on the court, Alston recently played a pivotal role in helping Pinar Karsiyaka SK Izmir secure a narrow 84-82 victory over the closely-ranked Bursaspor (10-20) in the Turkish ING Basketbol Super Ligi. This win was crucial for his team as they strive to climb the league standings, currently holding the 14th position after the Regular Season has concluded. Alston, in his first season with Pinar Karsiyaka SK Izmir, has been a consistent contributor throughout the season, averaging 7.7 points and 3.6 rebounds per game in 30 appearances. Despite his modest statistical performance in the particular game against Bursaspor, his impact was undeniable as his 2 points and 1 rebound helped his team emerge as the champion in that thrilling match.

#5. Sam Hughes, a 6'6'' forward who graduated from Boston University in 2026 and helped lead them to the final of the Patriot League Tournament that year, currently plays professionally in Australia. Despite his efforts, Hughes was unable to propel the North Adelaide Rockets (2-7) to victory against the dominant Forestville Eagles (8-1) in the Australian NBL One, the second division of Australian basketball. Unfortunately, the Rockets suffered a crushing 109-78 defeat at the hands of the Eagles in Goodwood. In this game, Hughes scored just 3 points in 11 minutes of play, making it a less than stellar performance for him. Despite his limited contributions in this particular match, Hughes managed to score three points, grab one rebound, and dish out one assist against Forestville Eagles. However, his individual performance was not enough to secure a win for the struggling North Adelaide Rockets. Throughout the season, Hughes has been averaging 4.4 points per game in the seven games he has played so far.
