#1. Experienced Cape Verdean player Ivan Almeida, standing at 6'6'' and playing as a small forward, showcased his skills and talent as a champion in a recent game for Tauron GTK Gliwice in the Polish Orlen Basket Liga. Despite his team's challenging position in the league standings, Almeida emerged as the standout performer in their victory over Twarde Pierniki. With 19 points, 6 assists, and 3 steals in just 28 minutes of play, Almeida's impact on the game was undeniable. Tauron GTK Gliwice, currently second from the bottom in the league, secured a much-needed win after a series of defeats, thanks in large part to Almeida's stellar performance. As the team gears up for their final game of the Regular Season, Almeida's exceptional contributions on the court have been instrumental in their recent success. In a critical match against Arriva P.Cukier, Almeida once again proved his worth by scoring 19 points, grabbing 3 rebounds, and delivering 6 assists. His remarkable statistics for the season, averaging 14.1 points, 6.7 rebounds, 4.2 assists, and 1.3 steals per game, highlight his consistent performance and valuable presence on the team. Despite his Cape Verdean roots, it's important to note that Almeida also holds Portuguese nationality, adding to the diversity and international flavor of the league. As a finalist, Almeida's dedication, skill, and determination have undoubtedly made him a key player to watch in the Polish basketball scene.

#2. Greek forward Pano Pavlidis, standing at 6'8'' and 25 years old, a former Skyhawks alumnus from 2024, currently playing professionally in Cyprus, played a crucial role in helping Keravnos Strovolou emerge victorious against the closely-ranked AEL with a decisive 92-60 win in the Cypriot ECOMMBX Basket League on Saturday night. Despite only scoring 4 points in 12 minutes of play, Pavlidis' impact was felt throughout the game. The matchup between Keravnos Strovolou and AEL was a highly anticipated game between two top 4 ranked teams in the league, with Keravnos Strovolou holding the second position with a record of 21-2. Pavlidis, with his 4 points and 2 rebounds against AEL, played a key role in ensuring his team's success on the court, demonstrating his abilities as a finalist player with a champion's mindset. Throughout the season, Pavlidis has been maintaining an average of 6.0 points per game and 2.9 rebounds per game, showcasing his consistency and contribution to the team's performance. Additionally, it is noteworthy that Pavlidis holds both American and Greek citizenship, granting him the flexibility to play as a domestic player in Greece, further highlighting his versatility as a professional player.
