Every week we bring you a list of the top former Sharks players who continue their career in pro basketball.
Notice impressive performance of Martin Hermannsson (19 points), Lucas Faggiano (11 points), and Jason Brickman (11 points).

#1. Icelandic Martin Hermannsson, a 6'3'' guard who is 31 years old and graduated from LIU Brooklyn in 2016, currently plays professionally in Germany. In a recent match, he played a crucial role in ALBA Berlin's victory over the tenth-ranked Rasta Vechta with a score of 98-89 in the German easyCredit BBL. Hermannsson exhibited an impressive performance, achieving a double-double with 19 points and 10 assists in just 27 minutes of play. This stellar display of skill and talent on the court further solidified his reputation as a champion. ALBA Berlin, with a record of 24-10, currently holds the second position in the league standings. Throughout the season, Hermannsson has maintained solid statistics, averaging 12.2 points, 2.1 rebounds, and 5.4 assists per game in the 29 games he has played so far.

#2. Experienced Italian player Lucas Faggiano, a 6'2'' point guard at 37 years old, who previously played for the Sharks in 2009, showcased his skills in a recent match in the Argentinian La Liga. Faggiano, currently playing professionally in Argentina, led Boca Juniors to a remarkable victory over the league-leading Quimsa with a score of 99-92 last Friday. Despite facing a strong opponent, Faggiano contributed significantly to his team's success by scoring 11 points and making 3 steals in just 26 minutes of play. Boca Juniors Buenos Aires, with a season record of 20-15, currently holds the eighth position in the league standings. Faggiano's impressive performance against Quimsa, where he not only scored 11 points but also secured 2 rebounds and provided 2 assists, played a vital role in securing the win for his team. His exceptional skills and leadership on the court undoubtedly portray him as a true champion. Throughout this season, Faggiano has maintained solid averages of 9.4 points, 2.9 rebounds, 3.1 assists, and 1.1 steals per game across 44 appearances. It's also noteworthy that Faggiano holds dual citizenship of both America and Italy, which allows him the flexibility to compete as a domestic player in Italy if needed.

#3. Jason Brickman, a 6'0'' guard who graduated from LIU Brooklyn in 2014 and received the All-NEC First Team award that year, currently plays professionally in the Philippines. In a recent game, despite his strong performance, Brickman couldn't lift Meralco Bolts to victory as they were narrowly defeated 97-94 on the road by the lower-ranked Giga. He contributed 11 points, 5 rebounds, 8 assists, and 3 steals in 33 minutes of play. This loss marked Meralco Bolts' first defeat after a streak of three consecutive wins. This season is Brickman's first with the team, and he showcased his skills in a noteworthy game against TNT Tropang, where he scored 11 points, grabbed 5 rebounds, and provided 8 assists. Even though Brickman has been averaging 7.7 points, 3.2 rebounds, and 5.0 assists per game in 20 appearances this season, his individual efforts have not always translated into team victories. It is notable that Brickman holds both American and Filipino citizenship, allowing him to compete in the Philippines as a domestic player.

#4. Canadian Jamal Fuller, a 6'5'' guard/forward and former Sharks alumnus from 2026, played a crucial role in helping his team secure the NEC Regular Season Champion title that year. Currently playing professionally in Canada, Fuller recently contributed significantly to the Saskatchewan Mamba's narrow 90-88 victory over the Shooting Stars with a 2-point lead. In this game, he showcased his skills by scoring 8 points, grabbing 4 rebounds, and providing 2 assists in just 17 minutes of play. Despite the Saskatchewan Mamba's somewhat unimpressive 2-4 record this season, it is still early in the season, and there is potential for improvement. Fuller's exceptional performance against Scarborough, where he scored 8 points, grabbed 4 rebounds, and provided 2 assists, was instrumental in securing another victory for his team. His consistent contributions on the court truly demonstrate his capabilities as a champion. This season, Fuller has been averaging 9.8 points, 3.5 rebounds, and 1.7 assists per game over six games, further solidifying his position as a key player for the team.
