Every week we bring you a list of the top former Dolphins players who continue their career in pro basketball.
Especially interesting is good performance of Tyquan Rolon (26 points), CJ Asuncion-Byrd (9 points), and Samuel Hincapie (16 points).

#1. Tyquan Rolon, a 6'4'' guard/forward aged 31, graduated from LeMoyne in 2018. In that year, he played a pivotal role in helping his team to become the Northeast Southwest Division Regular Season Champion. Currently playing professionally in Puerto Rico, Rolon showcased his exceptional skills in a recent game where he led Osos de Manati to a convincing 106-92 victory over the fourth-ranked Indios. In this game, he was named the MVP after an outstanding performance, scoring 26 points in just 27 minutes of play. Notably, Rolon made all ten of his free throws, highlighting his precision and reliability on the court. Moreover, in another game against Mayaguez, Rolon once again proved to be a key player for his team, contributing 26 points, 2 rebounds, and 1 assist to secure another victory. His consistent performances have been instrumental in Osos de Manati's success this season, as they currently hold the sixth position in Group B. With an average of 13.3 points, 2.7 rebounds, and 2.8 assists per game in the 20 games he has played so far, Rolon continues to demonstrate his capabilities as a champion player. It is also noteworthy that Rolon holds dual American and Puerto Rican citizenship, allowing him to play as a domestic player in Puerto Rico. His versatility, scoring ability, and leadership qualities make him a valuable asset to his team, showcasing why he is considered a champion both on and off the court.

#2. CJ Asuncion-Byrd, a 6'5'' guard who is 30 years old and an alum of the Dolphins from 2019 when they emerged as the Northeast Southwest Division Regular Season Champion, now showcases his talent playing professionally in Australia. In a recent game, he played a crucial role in his team's dominant 110-64 victory over the tenth-ranked Cobras, contributing 9 points in just 18 minutes of play. Currently, Asuncion-Byrd's team, the Sandringham Sabres, holds the seventh position in the South group and has secured their third consecutive win. His remarkable performance against Kilsyth C., where he scored 9 points, collected 2 rebounds, and provided 1 assist, highlighted his skills and determination as a champion. Throughout this season, he has maintained an average of 6.5 points, 1.5 rebounds, and 1.7 assists per game in the 11 games he has played. It is noteworthy that Asuncion-Byrd holds dual American and Australian citizenship, allowing him to play in Australia as a domestic player. His versatility and contributions on the court continue to solidify his reputation as a respected finalist in the world of basketball.

#3. Samuel Hincapie, a towering guard standing at 6'5'' who graduated from LeMoyne in 2026 and currently plays professionally in Colombia, showcased his skills in the recent game for Caimanes. Despite his notable efforts, Caimanes (8-6) suffered a close defeat on the road against the Paisas, the second-ranked team in the league, with a score of 81-88. In the game, Hincapie stood out as the second-best scorer for Caimanes, contributing 16 points and 5 rebounds in just 23 minutes of play. This performance is particularly impressive considering it is only his first season in professional basketball. His solid showing against the Paisas highlighted his potential and talent on the court, even though it wasn't enough to secure a victory for his team. Throughout the season, Hincapie has been consistently delivering strong performances, averaging 17.1 points, 4.7 rebounds, and 1.4 assists per game over the course of seven games. His individual success and contributions to Caimanes demonstrate his promising future as a basketball player in the league.

#4. Canadian basketball player Chuks-Mady, standing at 6'7'' and a former Dolphins alum from 2020, currently plays professionally in Australia. Recently, he made a significant impact for the Sunbury Jets in their match against the closely-ranked Camberwell team, with a final score of 86-74 in the Australian Big V Conference, which is the third division in the league. In this game, Chuks-Mady demonstrated his skills by scoring 5 points, securing 10 rebounds, and making 3 blocks in just 22 minutes of play. The Sunbury Jets, with a record of 6-2, hold the second position in the league standings. Chuks-Mady's contributions against Camberwell were instrumental in his team's victory, emphasizing his value as a champion player. His consistent performance throughout the season is evident from his average of 9.4 points, 6.9 rebounds, and 1.1 blocks per game over seven matches. His dedication and talent on the court continue to showcase why he is a finalist in the sport.
