Experienced champion Patrick Richard, a 6'5'' point guard at 36 years old and a graduate of McNeese St. in 2012, who was named the Louisiana Men's Basketball Player of the Year by the Louisiana Sports Writers Association in the same year, currently plays professionally in Romania. In a recent game, he played a crucial role in his team's dominating 103-78 victory over league leaders Oradea, scoring 6 points and grabbing 2 rebounds in 23 minutes of play. This game was a highly anticipated matchup between two top 3 ranked teams in the Joins LN second stage group, with U-Banca Transilvania Cluj Napoca finishing first in the group. Richard, a finalist in his seventh season with the team, showcased his skills and determination as a champion by contributing significantly to his team's success. His consistent performance this season, averaging 8.8 points, 4.6 rebounds, 2.2 assists, and 1.2 steals per game in the 10 games he has played so far, highlights his value to the team. Playing professionally in Australia, Jackson played a key role in his team's dominant 110-85 victory over the 11th-ranked Lightning last Saturday. Scoring 8 points in just 22 minutes of play, Jackson's performance was instrumental in securing the win, adding to his team's impressive six-game winning streak. The Rockingham Flames, currently boasting a 10-2 record, sit comfortably atop the West group standings, with Jackson's consistent contributions playing a significant role in their success. In a recent matchup against Lakeside L, Jackson delivered a stellar performance, scoring 8 points, grabbing 3 rebounds, and providing 1 assist to lead his team to victory. His all-around game has been crucial in solidifying his status as a champion. Throughout the season, Jackson has been a key player for his team, averaging 9.1 points, 5.5 rebounds, 2.3 assists, and 1.2 steals per game over 10 appearances. His versatility and skill set have undoubtedly made him a valuable asset for the Flames as they continue their quest for success in the NBL One.
