#1. Mack Smith-McEwen, a 6'3'' guard at 28 years old who graduated from Western Michigan in 2022, is currently playing professionally in North Macedonia. In a recent North Macedonian Super League game, he led KK MZT Skopje to a crucial victory over the fourth-ranked Madzari with a score of 81-76. Smith-McEwen's stellar performance earned him the title of MVP of the game, as he contributed significantly with 19 points, 8 rebounds, 3 assists, and 3 steals in 37 minutes of play. KK MZT Skopje Aerodrom, with a record of 22-5, holds the top position in the Places 1-6 group. This season marks Smith-McEwen's debut with the team, and his impact has been remarkable. His consistent performance on the court has established him as a champion player, showcasing his skills and leadership abilities. Throughout the season, Smith-McEwen has maintained impressive statistics, averaging 13.0 points, 4.3 rebounds, and 4.2 assists per game in the 29 games he has participated in so far. His contributions have been instrumental in his team's success, highlighting his prowess as a finalist player in the league.
#2. Owen Lobsinger, a 6'9'' forward and 23-year-old Broncos alumni from 2025, is currently playing professionally in Australia. In a recent game, Lobsinger's team, the Nunawading Spectres, faced off against the Sabres and unfortunately suffered a defeat despite his standout performance. The Spectres, who are currently in fourth place with an 8-4 record, fell short with a final score of 95-105 on the road against the lower-ranked Sabres who are placed seventh in the South group. Lobsinger showcased his skills on the court by recording a double-double, scoring 25 points and grabbing 10 rebounds in just 30 minutes of play. This impressive performance is even more remarkable considering he is in his debut season in professional basketball. In a previous game against Sandringham S., Lobsinger once again displayed his talent by contributing 25 points, 10 rebounds, and 1 assist to the team's efforts, although they ultimately came up short in securing the win. Throughout the season, Lobsinger has maintained solid statistics, averaging 10.6 points, 4.9 rebounds, and 1.5 assists per game in the 11 games he has participated in so far. Despite the challenges faced by the Spectres, Lobsinger's consistent contributions and skillset position him as a key player for the team as they strive to improve their standing in the league.
