We bring you last week's top former Mastodons players who are currently playing in pro basketball.

#1. Rasheed Bello, a 6'0'' point guard who graduated from PFW in 2025 and received the Horizon League All-Defensive Team award that year, is currently playing professionally in Belgium. In a recent game, he led Windrose Giants Antwerp to a 91-79 victory over the eighth-ranked Limburg United in the Belgian Pro Basketball League. Bello's outstanding performance earned him the title of MVP of the game. Despite it being his first season in professional basketball, he managed to achieve a double-double with 27 points and 11 assists in just 32 minutes of play, showcasing his exceptional skills on the court. Windrose Giants Antwerp, the team he currently plays for, holds the second position in the league standings. Bello's impact on the team was evident in the game against Limburg United, where he contributed significantly by scoring 27 points, securing 1 rebound, and making 11 assists. His remarkable display of talent and leadership was instrumental in guiding his team to victory, solidifying his status as a true champion. Throughout the season, Bello has maintained impressive individual statistics, averaging 22.0 points per game (leading the league), along with 2.7 rebounds, 5.2 assists (third best in the league), and 1.5 steals per game (also third best in the league) in the six games he has played so far.

#2. Israeli champion Yuval Levin, a 6'8'' forward and 22-year-old Mastodons alumnus from 2026, showcased his skills in a recent game where he helped Urban Latti Kiryat Ata secure a victory against Ironi Nes-Ziona in the Israeli Winner League. Scoring 7 points and making 4 steals in just 19 minutes of play, Levin's contribution was instrumental in his team's 78-64 win. Despite Urban Latti Kiryat Ata being placed tenth in the league with a 9-17 record, Levin's performance on the court highlighted his talent as a finalist. In the game against Ironi Nes-Ziona, Levin not only scored 7 points but also grabbed 3 rebounds, further solidifying his impact on the match. This season, Levin has been averaging 6.1 points, 4.3 rebounds, and 1.1 steals per game over eight games, demonstrating his consistency and value as a key player for his team. With his impressive statistics and valuable contributions, Levin continues to prove himself as a worthy champion in the Israeli Winner League.

#3. Champion Jaraun Burrows, an experienced player from the Bahamas standing at 6'8'' and 40 years old, graduated from PFW in 2008 and received the Summit League All-Tournament Team award that year. Currently playing professionally in France, Burrows recently competed for FOS Provence Basket (26-14) in the French Nationale Masculine 1, the third division of basketball in France. Despite his efforts, FOS Provence Basket was unable to defeat Mulhouse (27-13), the second-ranked team in Group A, and suffered a 79-54 loss on the road. In the game against Mulhouse, Burrows showcased his skills by scoring 8 points, securing 1 rebound, and providing 1 assist in just 15 minutes of play. Although he was the second-best scorer for his team, FOS Provence Basket ultimately fell short against their opponents. Throughout this season, Burrows has maintained solid averages of 9.7 points, 4.3 rebounds, and 2.0 assists per game across 23 appearances. Despite the recent loss, Burrows continues to demonstrate his talent and contribution to the team as they strive for success in the league.

#4. Jarred Godfrey, a 6'5'' guard and 25-year-old alum of the Mastodons from 2023, is currently playing professionally in Lebanon. In a recent game, he led Antonine to a thrilling 84-77 victory over the tenth-ranked NSA. Godfrey was named the MVP of the game after scoring an impressive 25 points and contributing 4 assists in 39 minutes of play. This outstanding performance is even more remarkable considering that he is only in his third season of professional basketball. CS Antonine, currently holding the fifth spot in the league with a 13-9 record, has been benefiting from Godfrey's skills on the court. This recent win marked their third consecutive victory, showcasing the team's strong form heading into the next phase of the competition. This season is particularly special for Godfrey as it is his first year with the team, and his impact has been undeniable. With his notable individual performance, Godfrey has been having a standout year, averaging 20.3 points, 2.7 rebounds, 3.0 assists, and 1.7 steals per game over the course of three games. His impressive display against NSA not only helped secure the victory for his team but also solidified his position as a champion in the match.
