#1. Jay Threatt (5'11''-PG-89, graduated '12, plays pro in Lithuania) could not help P.Zvaigzdes (16-14) in their last game. Despite his very good performance P.Zvaigzdes lost 97-111 at home to the one of league's weakest teams (#9) Siauliai. Threatt scored 16 points, had 6 rebounds and dished 7 assists in 36 minutes. It was P.Zvaigzdes' third consecutive loss in a row. It's Threatt's first season with the team. He has relatively good stats this year 12.6ppg, 3.5rpg, 5.5apg and 1.2spg in 19 games he played so far.
#2. Marques Oliver (6'7''-F-91, graduated '13, plays in Iceland) led Fjolnir to a victory over one of league's weakest teams Hamar (1-17) 109-90 in the Icelandic D1 (second division) last Monday. Oliver was MVP of the game. He recorded a double-double by scoring 24 points and getting 15 rebounds. Oliver also added 7 assists, 3 blocks and 3 steals. Fjolnir Reykjavik (16-2) is placed first in the D1. Oliver has individually a very good season with high stats. He averages 25.1ppg, 13.9rpg, 3.1apg, 2.6bpg and 1.7spg. Worth to mention he played also at Eurobasket Summer League, which helped him get the job in pro basketball.
#3. Kendal Williams (6'0''-PG-92, graduated '15, currently in Germany) managed to help BG Aschersleben Tigers in a victory against the 13th-ranked Cuxhaven (11-16) 87-73 in the German Regionalliga (fourth division) on Saturday night. He scored only 2 points and added 3 assists in 17 minutes. BG Aschersleben Tigers (13-14) is placed eighth in North group. It was his team's fifth consecutive victory in a row. The Regular Season already ended. Williams has very impressive stats this year 16.7ppg, 5.4rpg, 4.5apg and 1.4spg in 25 games.
#4. Artem Tavakalyan (6'6''-F-95, graduated '18, plays pro in France) was not able to help Besancon (2-11) in their last game on Saturday. Despite Tavakalyan's very good performance the tenth-placed Besancon (2-11) was edged 66-65 on the road by the much higher-ranked Vitre (#3) in the Places 11-20 group. He recorded a double-double by scoring 25 points and getting 11 rebounds. There are only three games left until the end of the Second Stage. So now every game will be critical. This season Tavakalyan has very high stats. He averages 20.0ppg, 5.3rpg and 1.7apg.
