#1. Brandon Boyd, a 5'11'' point guard who is 29 years old, graduated from CBU in 2020. He previously played for Idaho St. between 2015 and 2019, earning an All-Big Sky Conference Honorable Mention award during his time there. Currently, he is playing professionally in Puerto Rico. In a recent game, Boyd's team, Mets de Guaynabo, faced off against the Criollos. Despite his efforts, Boyd could not lead his team to victory, as the Criollos emerged as the champions with a 109-92 win. Boyd contributed 4 points and 4 assists in just 9 minutes on the court. Although the Mets de Guaynabo ended up in fourth place with an 11-11 record, Boyd showed a strong performance in another game against Caguas, scoring 4 points, grabbing 2 rebounds, and providing 4 assists. Despite his individual success, his team was unable to secure a win. Throughout the season, Boyd has been averaging 4.0 points, 1.1 rebounds, and 1.7 assists per game.
#2. Experienced Nigerian player Jeffrey Solarin, who stands at 6'4'' and is 33 years old, is a Bengals alumnus from 2015 and received the All-Big Sky Conference Honorable Mention award that year. Currently playing professionally in Spain, Solarin recently competed for Sant Antoni (19-7) in a game last Saturday. Despite his solid performance, the third-placed Sant Antoni suffered a significant 91-72 defeat on the road against the second-ranked Caja 87 in the East group. During the game, Solarin emerged as the team's second top scorer, contributing 13 points and grabbing 6 rebounds in 25 minutes of play. This marks Solarin's inaugural season with the team, where he has been showcasing his skills. In the match against Caja 87, Solarin displayed an impressive performance, demonstrating his scoring ability and rebounding skills. However, despite his noteworthy efforts, Sant Antoni was unable to secure a victory. Throughout this season, Solarin has been averaging 7.5 points per game and 3.7 rebounds per game, highlighting his consistent contributions to the team's performance.
