Courtesy of Eurobasket LLC Every week we bring you a list of the top former The Lancers players who continue their career in pro basketball.
#1. Michael Christmas, a 6'6'' forward who graduated from Longwood in 2025 and currently plays professionally in Australia, showcased his skills in a recent game for Mandurah Magic. Despite his stellar performance, the 12th-placed Mandurah Magic team was unable to secure a victory against the Senators, who are ranked 10th in the West group. In the game, Mandurah Magic suffered a 104-96 defeat on the road. Christmas stood out as the top scorer, contributing 27 points, 9 rebounds, and 5 assists in 37 minutes of play. His impressive display on the court included a noteworthy performance against Warwick S., where he excelled with 27 points, 9 rebounds, and 5 assists. Despite his exceptional individual efforts, Mandurah Magic fell short of clinching the win. Throughout the season, Christmas has maintained high statistics, averaging 23.0 points, 5.9 rebounds, 3.0 assists, and 1.3 steals per game, further solidifying his reputation as a standout player in the league.
#2. Irish Sean Flood, a 29-year-old guard standing at 6'2'' and an alum of The Lancers from 2020, currently plays professionally in Holland. Despite his efforts, Flood, a standout on the Big South Conf. All-Academic Team in 2020, could not lead Den Bosch to victory against Zwolle. In a hard-fought match, Flood contributed 8 points in just 15 minutes of play. Unfortunately, his team suffered a 72-57 defeat on Zwolle's home court, a team lower in the rankings. Flood showcased his skills with an impressive performance, scoring 8 points, grabbing 1 rebound, and providing 1 assist against Zwolle. Despite his solid contributions, Den Bosch was unable to secure the win. In the current season, Flood maintains averages of 5.3 points, 2.8 rebounds, and 1.8 assists per game as he continues to strive for success as a professional player in Holland.
