Every week we bring you a list of the top former Redhawks players who continue their career in pro basketball.
Especially interesting is good performance of Aaron Broussard (11 points), Kobe Williamson (17 points), and Brody Nunn (19 points).



   #1. Experienced champion Aaron Broussard, a 6'5'' guard who is 36 years old and graduated from Seattle in 2012, currently plays professionally in Portugal. In the recent Portuguese Liga Betclic Masculina game, he led Benfica to a remarkable 86-78 victory over the fifth-ranked Oliveirense by scoring 11 points, grabbing 4 rebounds, and playing for 30 minutes. Broussard, a finalist of the All-Independent First Team award in 2012, has been with Benfica for five seasons and has been a key player in their recent success. His team, Sport Lisboa Benfica, currently holds the top spot in the league with a record of 20-2, thanks in part to their fifth consecutive win led by Broussard's stellar performance. Against Oliveirense, Broussard showcased his skills by not only scoring points and grabbing rebounds but also dishing out 2 assists. His overall contribution on the court was instrumental in securing the win for Benfica, highlighting his capabilities as a champion player. This season, Broussard has maintained strong statistics, averaging 12.3 points, 4.5 rebounds, 4.3 assists, and 1.5 steals per game, further solidifying his reputation as a standout player in the league.

   #2. Australian Kobe Williamson, a 6'8'' forward who is 24 years old and an alum of Redhawks from 2025, played a pivotal role in helping them secure the Australian NBL1 South Regular Season Champion title that year. Currently playing professionally in Australia, he showcased his skills by leading the Knox Raiders to a resounding victory against the 19th-ranked Miners with a score of 109-92 in the Australian NBL One, the second division, on a recent Sunday night. In an outstanding performance, Williamson achieved a double-double by scoring 17 points and grabbing an impressive 21 rebounds. Additionally, he contributed 5 assists, showcasing his all-around abilities on the court. Remarkably, he was flawless from the free-throw line, going 5-for-5. This remarkable performance is even more impressive considering it is only Williamson's first season in professional basketball. The Knox Raiders, with a record of 10-4, currently hold the third position in the South group standings. In another game against Ballarat M., Williamson once again displayed his exceptional skills by scoring 17 points, securing 21 rebounds, and providing 5 assists, leading his team to victory. His remarkable performance did not go unnoticed, as he was honored with the prestigious 20+ Rebound badge from eurobasket.com. Through his exceptional displays on the court, Williamson has proven himself to be a true champion and finalist. Williamson's impressive season statistics further attest to his skills, with averages of 14.2 points per game, 9.5 rebounds per game, 2.1 assists per game, and 1.1 blocks per game. His consistent performance and contributions have undoubtedly solidified his reputation as a standout player in the league.

   #3. Australian player Brody Nunn, standing at 6'1'' and a 23-year-old guard who graduated from Seattle in 2024, showcased his talent by helping his team secure the CBI Championship Winner title that year. Currently playing professionally in Australia, Nunn is teammates with the aforementioned Kobe Williamson and recently played alongside him in the latest Australian NBL One match. In a recent game, Nunn was instrumental in leading the Knox Raiders to a resounding 109-92 victory over the 19th-ranked Miners with his impressive performance. Scoring 19 points, securing 4 rebounds, and providing 7 assists in 37 minutes of play, Nunn's impact on the court was undeniable, especially considering it is only his second season in professional basketball. His noteworthy contribution against Ballarat M. was crucial in guiding his team to a triumph. Throughout this season, Nunn has maintained solid statistics, averaging 13.2 points, 3.4 rebounds, 5.6 assists, and 1.2 steals per game. His consistent performance and significant contributions make him a key player for his team as they compete in the league.

   #4. In a recent Australian NBL One match, the experienced 35-year-old Tidjane Diop, standing at 6'8'' and an alumnus of Redhawks from 2012, showcased his skills for the Gold Coast Rollers. Despite only scoring 4 points in 9 minutes of play, his contribution was vital in the team's commanding 110-83 victory over the 11th-ranked Townsville Heat. The Gold Coast Rollers, now at 7-2, hold the second position in the North group standings, thanks to their seventh consecutive win, with Diop playing a key role. This marks Diop's eighth season with the team, and his consistent performance has been instrumental in their success. With 4 points and 2 rebounds against Townsville Heat, Diop's on-court presence was a crucial factor in securing the triumph, leading his team to claim the champion title in the game. Throughout this season, Diop has been averaging 3.3 points per game and 2.3 rebounds per game, showcasing his valuable contribution to the team's overall performance.

   #5. Cameron Tyson, a 6'3'' guard who graduated from Seattle in 2024, is currently playing professionally in Canada. Recently, he led the Brampton Honey Badgers to a thrilling 82-80 victory over the Alliance, earning the title of MVP of the game. Tyson's impressive performance included 18 points, 4 rebounds, and 5 assists in 33 minutes of play. This win marked the team's fifth consecutive victory, improving their record to 5-1 for the season. Despite the team's solid performance so far, it is still early in the season, and anything can happen in the competitive league. Tyson's stellar contributions in the game against Montreal were instrumental in securing the win, further demonstrating his skills as a true champion. He has been having an exceptional season individually, averaging 17.5 points, 4.8 rebounds, and 2.3 assists per game, showcasing his talent on the court as a standout finalist.

   #6. Canadian Matthew-Alexander Moncrieffe, a 6'8'' forward and 25-year-old Redhawks alumnus from 2025, has been excelling in professional basketball in Canada. In the last Canadian Elite Basketball League game, Moncrieffe, a finalist, played alongside his teammate Cameron Tyson, also mentioned earlier. Moncrieffe's standout performance was instrumental in leading the Brampton Honey Badgers to a narrow 2-point victory over the Alliance with a final score of 82-80. During the game, Moncrieffe showcased his versatility and skills by contributing 12 points, 9 rebounds, and 2 blocks in just 27 minutes of play. Notably, he delivered a stellar performance by scoring 12 points and securing 9 rebounds against Montreal, playing a crucial role in his team's success on the court. His consistent contributions have been essential in securing victories for his team, proving himself as a champion player. This season, Moncrieffe has maintained impressive statistics with an average of 12.5 points per game, 10.0 rebounds per game (ranking second best in the league), along with 1.3 assists per game and 1.8 steals per game. His remarkable performance on the court reflects his dedication and skill level as a finalist in the league.
