We bring you last week's top former Stags players who are currently playing in pro basketball.
#1. Brazilian Izabela Nicoletti, a 26-year-old guard standing at 5'10'' who graduated from Fairfield in 2025, showcased her skills in the recent game. Although she helped Fairfield secure the MAAC Regular Season Champion title in 2025, her current team, Campinas, fell short against Cerrado in the Brazilian Liga de Basquete Feminino. Despite Nicoletti's impressive performance of scoring 8 points, grabbing 10 rebounds, and contributing 2 assists in 24 minutes, Campinas suffered a tough 81-65 loss on the road to Cerrado, who is ranked lower at #4.
This defeat marked Campinas' first loss after a streak of three consecutive victories, making the remaining three games of the Regular Season crucial for the team. Nicoletti's statistics for the season reflect her solid contributions, with averages of 7.7 points, 4.9 rebounds, 3.1 assists, and 1.4 steals per game. As a key player for Campinas, Nicoletti's efforts and performance on the court will continue to be vital as her team strives to secure a spot in the upcoming playoffs.
