Every week we bring you a list of the top former Knights players who continue their career in pro basketball.
Notice impressive performance of Darnell Edge (15 points), Kamil Svrdlik (15 points), and Grant Singleton (13 points).

#1. Darnell Edge, a 6'2'' point guard who graduated from FDU in 2019 and currently plays professionally in Poland, recently showcased his skills in a game where his team, Dziki Warszawa, was narrowly defeated by Legia in a close derby match. Despite Edge's stellar performance, scoring 15 points, grabbing 7 rebounds, and dishing out 7 assists in 31 minutes of play, Dziki Warszawa fell short with a final score of 78-76. This loss marked the team's first defeat after enjoying a five-game winning streak. Throughout the season, Edge has been a standout player, maintaining impressive statistics with an average of 16.3 points, 3.6 rebounds, 4.5 assists, and 1.1 steals per game in the 19 games he has played so far. Despite the loss in the recent game, Edge's individual contributions on the court have been noteworthy, solidifying his reputation as a talented player in the league.

#2. Experienced Czech Republic champion Kamil Svrdlik, a towering 6'9'' center at 39 years old and an alum of the Knights from 2011, showcased his skills once again by leading Pardubice to a decisive victory against the third-ranked Brno with a final score of 90-75 in the Czech Republic Maxa NBL during Monday night's game. In an impressive display, he contributed 15 points, 8 rebounds, and 3 assists in just 29 minutes of play. The match was highly anticipated as it featured two of the top 3 ranked teams in group Places 1-8, with BK KVIS Pardubice (27-9) currently holding the second position. Svrdlik, who has been with the team for 11 seasons, demonstrated his prowess on the court, further solidifying his reputation as a champion. Throughout this season, Svrdlik has maintained solid averages of 5.8 points per game and 4.5 rebounds per game across 46 games, proving his consistency and value to the team. His exceptional performance against Brno not only contributed to the team's victory but also exemplified why he is recognized as a champion in the sport.

#3. Grant Singleton, a 25-year-old point guard standing at 6'0'' who graduated from FDU in 2023 and received the All-NEC Second Team award that year, currently plays professionally in Bulgaria. In his latest game, despite his commendable efforts, Singleton was unable to lead Lokomotiv Plovdiv (19-11) to victory as they suffered a 73-88 defeat on the road against the second-ranked Balkan team. During the game, Singleton showcased his skills by contributing 13 points, 4 rebounds, and 3 assists in just 25 minutes of play. His performance against Balkan was noteworthy, demonstrating his versatility on the court. Throughout the season, Singleton has consistently displayed impressive statistics, averaging 15.1 points, 3.5 rebounds, 5.7 assists, and 1.2 steals per game over 30 appearances. Despite the challenging outcome of the latest game, Singleton's individual performance throughout the year has been highly commendable.

#4. Ahmed Barba-Bey, a towering 6'3'' guard and Knights alumni from 2025, showcased his skills playing professionally in Australia. In a recent game, despite his stellar performance, the ninth-placed Sydney City Comets (6-7) were unable to secure a victory against the lower-ranked Sharks (#10) in the East group, suffering a crushing 87-62 defeat in Sutherland. Barba-Bey emerged as the standout player of the game, leading the scoring charts with an impressive 18 points. Additionally, he contributed 6 rebounds and played for 26 minutes, demonstrating his prowess on the court. Remarkably, this performance is even more commendable considering it is Barba-Bey's debut season in professional basketball. Although Barba-Bey displayed his talent by scoring 18 points, grabbing 6 rebounds, and providing 1 assist against the Sutherland Sharks, his individual efforts were not enough to tilt the game in favor of the Sydney City Comets. Despite his consistent high-level performances, the team fell short in securing the win. Throughout the season, Barba-Bey has maintained exceptional statistics, averaging 15.5 points per game, 5.8 rebounds per game, 2.2 assists per game, and 1.5 steals per game across 13 games. His strong individual performance underscores his potential as a future champion in the league.

#5. In the recent game, the 6'9'' forward Malik Miller, a 30-year-old finalist who graduated from FDU in 2018 and currently plays professionally in Australia, was unable to lead the struggling Wyndham Devils (2-8) to victory. Despite his exceptional performance, the bottom-ranked Wyndham team suffered a significant 104-86 loss to the higher-ranked (#8) Venom in Melbourne. Miller showcased his skills by emerging as the champion scorer for the game, contributing 26 points along with 8 rebounds during his 38 minutes on the court. His remarkable display against Warrandyte where he scored 26 points, secured 8 rebounds, and provided 1 assist, further highlights his valuable contributions to the team, even though they ultimately faced defeat. Throughout the season, Miller has maintained impressive individual statistics, averaging 18.6 points, 6.0 rebounds, and 1.1 assist per game across 10 matches. His consistent performance and notable stats underscore his significant impact within the team, despite the challenges faced by the Wyndham Devils.
