Here is the weekly review of the top performing Buckeyes alumni, who are currently playing in pro basketball.

#1. Chinese champion Kelsey Mitchell, a 5'8'' point guard who is 30 years old and graduated from Ohio State in 2018, currently plays professionally in the WNBA. In her most recent game, Mitchell was unable to lead the Indiana Fever (4-4) to a victory as they were narrowly defeated 90-88 on the road by the Golden State Valkyries. Despite her strong performance, scoring 14 points and contributing 3 assists in 30 minutes of play, her team fell short in the contest. This setback occurred early in the season, leaving room for improvement and changes in the team's performance. It is important to note that this is Mitchell's first year with the Indiana Fever, and she has shown promise with her impressive individual performance. Mitchell has been excelling this season, averaging 21.1 points per game (ranking fourth in the league) and 2.3 assists per game in the seven games she has played thus far. Her talent and skills on the court make her a valuable asset to the team, and there is anticipation for more success as the season progresses.

#2. Chance Gray, a 5'9'' guard and 21-year-old Buckeyes alumna from the class of 2026, who received the All-Big Ten Honorable Mention award that year, now showcases her skills in the WNBA. Despite her efforts, Gray, a rising star in the league, was unable to lead the Los Angeles Sparks (4-4) to victory against the Connecticut Sun (2-8) in a recent Women's National Basketball Association game. Scoring 6 points in just 13 minutes of play, Gray displayed her tenacity on the court. The Los Angeles Sparks, ranked #6, suffered a narrow 84-81 defeat at the hands of the Connecticut Sun in Uncasville. This loss marked the Sparks' first after a streak of three consecutive victories, highlighting the competitive nature of the game. Gray's noteworthy performance against the Connecticut Sun included 6 points, 2 rebounds, and 1 assist, showcasing her versatility and determination. Throughout the season, Gray has maintained an average of 2.6 points per game and 1.3 rebounds per game across the seven games she has participated in so far. As a promising young talent in the WNBA, Gray continues to hone her skills and make significant contributions to her team's performance on the court, aiming to lead the Los Angeles Sparks to success as they strive to become champions.

#3. Jacy Sheldon, a 5'10'' point guard who recently graduated from Ohio State in 2024 and was a semifinalist for the Jersey Mike's Naismith Player of the Year award, is currently showcasing her skills in the WNBA as a professional player. Despite her best efforts, she was unable to lead the Chicago Sky to victory against the Minnesota Lynx in their recent game. Sheldon managed to contribute 5 points, 1 rebound, and 1 assist in 19 minutes of play, but the Chicago Sky fell short to the Minnesota Lynx with a final score of 75-85 in Minneapolis. This defeat marked the Chicago Sky's fourth consecutive loss. Even though Sheldon displayed a commendable performance against the Minnesota Lynx, her individual stats for this season show an average of 7.4 points, 1.8 rebounds, 2.1 assists, and 1.3 steals per game in the eight games she has played so far. Despite her consistent contributions, the Chicago Sky is still striving to secure more wins under her leadership as a key player on the team.

#4. Cotie McMahon, a 6'0'' forward aged 22 and an alumna of Lady Rebels from 2026, previously played for Ohio St. from 2022 to 2025.
