We bring you last week's top former Flyers players who are currently playing in pro basketball.



   #1. Ibrahim Watson-Boye, a 6'5'' guard/forward who graduated from Dayton in 2021 and received the All-Atlantic 10 Third Team award that year, is currently playing professionally in Germany. Recently, he played a crucial role in Bamberg Baskets' 80-74 victory over the closely-ranked ratiopharm Ulm (19-15) in the German easyCredit BBL. In this game, Watson-Boye showcased his skills by scoring 16 points in 31 minutes of play. Bamberg Baskets, currently holding the third position in the league with a record of 24-10, secured their seventh consecutive victory with the help of Watson-Boye's stellar performance. His remarkable 16 points and 2 assists were instrumental in leading his team to victory as the champion of the game against Ulm. Individually, Watson-Boye is having an outstanding season, boasting impressive stats with an average of 15.7 points per game, 4.1 rebounds per game, and 2.6 assists per game. His consistent contributions on the court have undoubtedly played a significant role in his team's success as they aim to continue their winning streak.

   #2. In a recent game in the Czech Republic Maxa NBL, Matej Svoboda, a 29-year-old 6'7'' forward and former Flyers alumnus, showcased his skills as a key player for ERA Basketball Nymburk. Facing off against the fifth-ranked Opava, Svoboda played a pivotal role in his team's dominant 95-67 victory on Tuesday night. Despite only playing for 19 minutes, he managed to score an impressive 15 points and provide 3 assists, contributing significantly to his team's success. ERA Basketball Nymburk, currently leading the Places 1-8 group with a record of 32-4, secured their sixth consecutive win thanks in part to Svoboda's stellar performance. In addition to his scoring and playmaking abilities, Svoboda also demonstrated his versatility by grabbing 2 rebounds during the game. With solid season averages of 10.2 points per game, 2.9 rebounds per game, and 2.0 assists per game, Svoboda has proven himself as a valuable asset to his team throughout the season. His standout display against Opava further solidified his reputation as a true champion on the court, helping lead his team to victory as they continue their successful campaign in the league.

   #3. Enoch Cheeks, a 25-year-old guard standing at 6'3" and a graduate of Dayton in 2025, has been making waves in the Belgian Pro Basketball League. Currently playing professionally in Belgium, Cheeks recently led Windrose Giants Antwerp to a resounding victory over Spirou Charleroi with a score of 109-92 in a highly anticipated match between two top 4 ranked teams. His impressive performance on Friday night included 16 points, 5 rebounds, 4 assists, and 3 steals in just 28 minutes of play. Despite it being his debut season in professional basketball, Cheeks displayed remarkable skill and composure on the court, further solidifying his reputation as a true champion. Windrose Giants Antwerp, placed second in the league standings, has benefited greatly from Cheeks' contributions in his first year with the team. His stellar showing against Charleroi not only showcased his scoring ability, rebounding prowess, and playmaking skills but also demonstrated his leadership and impact as a player. With an average of 14.5 points, 5.0 rebounds, 2.5 assists, and a league-leading 3.5 steals per game this season, Cheeks has proven himself to be a valuable asset to his team. Noteworthy is the fact that Cheeks is a naturalized American player, bringing a unique blend of talent and versatility to the Belgian league. As he continues to excel and make a name for himself in professional basketball, it is clear that Enoch Cheeks is a rising star destined for greatness as a finalist in the making.

   #4. Zed Key, a 24-year-old 6'8'' forward and Flyers alumni from 2025, currently playing professionally in the Czech Republic, showcased his skills in a recent game for Pardubice. Despite his impressive performance, scoring 17 points and grabbing 6 rebounds in just 24 minutes, Pardubice, the second-placed team with a record of 27-9, was narrowly defeated 92-89 at home by the third-ranked Brno in the Places 1-8 group. Key, the league's leader with 13.6 points per game, 6.9 rebounds per game, and 1.7 blocks per game, gave it his all against Brno, but unfortunately, his team couldn't secure the victory.

   #5. Jalen Crutcher, a 6'2'' guard who graduated from Dayton in 2021 and received the All-Atlantic 10 First Team award that year, currently competes professionally in Puerto Rico. Recently, he showcased his skills by leading Leones de Ponce to a decisive 88-65 victory over the league leader Atleticos (14-7) in the Puerto Rican Baloncesto Superior Nacional, earning him the title of champion. In this remarkable performance, Crutcher was named the game's MVP after contributing an impressive 26 points and 5 assists in 34 minutes of play. Despite Leones de Ponce being in fifth place in Group A with an 8-12 record, Crutcher's standout abilities have been instrumental in their recent success. Following three consecutive losses, he played a key role in securing their first win by delivering another outstanding performance against San German, tallying 26 points, 3 rebounds, and 5 assists. His exceptional statistics throughout the season, averaging 16.9 points, 3.1 rebounds, and 5.9 assists per game, further underline his impact as a finalist.

   #6. Experienced champion Jordan Sibert, a 6'4'' guard aged 33, and an alum of the Flyers from 2015, has been showcasing his skills as a professional player in Portugal. In a recent game, he played a crucial role in Oliveirense's triumph over the closely-ranked Ovarense with a score of 69-65 in the Portuguese Liga Betclic Masculina on Saturday night. Sibert displayed his talent by scoring 18 points, securing 4 rebounds, and contributing 1 assist in 28 minutes of gameplay. His remarkable performance not only helped secure the victory against Ovarense but also reaffirmed his standing as a true champion. Throughout the season, Sibert has maintained solid statistics, averaging 13.7 points, 3.0 rebounds, 2.2 assists, and 1.3 steals per game, further solidifying his reputation as a finalist.

   #7. Canadian Dyshawn Pierre, a 6'6'' forward who is 32 years old and graduated from Dayton in 2016, is currently playing professionally in Russia. In a recent game, Pierre, who was instrumental in helping Dayton become the Atlantic 10 Regular Season Co-Champion in 2016, played for UNICS but was unable to lead his team to victory against Zenit. Despite his valiant effort, recording 7 points and 3 steals in 17 minutes of play, his team ultimately suffered a close 81-77 defeat. During the game, Pierre showcased his skills by scoring 7 points and securing 2 rebounds, displaying an impressive performance on the court. Despite his individual accomplishments, his team was unable to secure the win. Throughout the season, Pierre has maintained solid statistics, averaging 10.5 points, 4.7 rebounds, and 2.0 assists per game.

   #8. Greek champion Kostas Antetokounmpo, a 6'10'' center and 28-year-old Flyers alumnus from 2018, currently playing professionally in Greece, made a significant contribution to Aris Betsson Thessaloniki's victory over the closely-ranked AEK, with a final score of 90-81 in the Greek Stoiximan Basketball League on Sunday night. Despite scoring only 3 points in 16 minutes of play, his scoring and 1 rebound against AEK proved instrumental in securing the win for his team. Antetokounmpo's performance was vital in guiding his team to triumph, ultimately earning him the title of champion of the game. This season, Antetokounmpo maintains an average of 6.1 points, 4.4 rebounds, 1.1 assists, and 2.5 blocks per game, showcasing his versatility and impact on the court.
