We bring you last week's top former Keydets players who are currently playing in pro basketball.

#1. Jake Stephens, a towering 7'0'' center at 26 years old, has made a significant impact in the Croatian Favbet Premijer Liga. Despite graduating from Chattanooga in 2023, he honed his skills at VMI from 2018 to 2022, earning the prestigious All-SoCon First Team award during his time there. Currently playing professionally in Croatia, Stephens recently led KK Split to a thrilling victory against Zabok in a closely contested match. His stellar performance included scoring 13 points, securing 7 rebounds, and making 1 assist in just 18 minutes of play. KK Split, with a commendable record of 25-8, currently holds the third spot in the league standings. This season marks Stephens' debut with the team, and he has quickly proven himself as a valuable asset on the court. With an average of 9.7 points, 5.3 rebounds, and 1.1 assists per game in the 33 games he has played so far, Stephens continues to showcase his prowess as a champion in the making. His contributions have been instrumental in securing victories for his team, solidifying his position as a finalist in the league.

#2. Experienced Nigerian player Stan Okoye, standing at 6'6'' and playing as a small forward, is a 35-year-old athlete who graduated from the Keydets in 2013. That year, he was honored with the All-Big South Conference Player of the Year award. Currently, he is showcasing his skills as a professional player in Spain. In a recent game, Okoye, despite his commendable performance, was unable to lead MoraBanc Andorra (9-23) to victory. The team narrowly lost 85-83 to the higher-ranked (#14) Burgos on the road. Okoye stood out as the top scorer with 13 points, along with contributing 5 rebounds and 3 assists in just 24 minutes of play. With only two games remaining in the Regular Season, each upcoming match holds significant importance for the team. Despite the loss to Burgos, Okoye displayed his talent by putting up an impressive performance. Throughout this season, Okoye has been averaging 8.5 points, 3.5 rebounds, and 1.1 assists per game across 26 games. It is worth noting that Okoye is a naturalized Nigerian player, showcasing his skills and dedication on the professional basketball court.

#3. Sean Conway, a 6'5'' guard at 25 years old, graduated from St. John's in 2024 after playing for VMI from 2019 to 2023. Currently playing professionally in Australia, Conway recently showcased his skills for the Perth Redbacks in a tough match against the Lightning. Despite his stellar performance, where he scored 31 points, grabbed 8 rebounds, and provided 3 assists in 35 minutes, the Perth Redbacks ultimately fell short, losing 93-99 to the lower-ranked Lightning who held the tenth position in the West group. Conway's standout performance as the top scorer of the game highlighted his talent on the court, especially considering he is only in his second season of professional basketball. His remarkable statistics, averaging 20.1 points, 7.0 rebounds, 2.6 assists, and 1.4 steals per game in seven games, underscore his significant contributions to the team. Despite his individual success, Conway's efforts were not enough to lead Perth Redbacks to victory in the latest game. However, his consistent high-level performance throughout the season positions him as a key player and a potential champion in the making.

#4. Gregory Parham, a 6'4'' guard and 27-year-old Jaguars alumni from 2023, previously played for VMI between 2017 and 2021, where he earned the All-SoCon Second Team award in his final year. Currently, he is playing professionally in Spain and recently contributed significantly to Oviedo's victory over Gipuzkoa in a Spanish Primera FEB game. Oviedo's 93-79 win against Gipuzkoa, who were closely ranked, was crucial for their standing in the league, with Alimerka Oviedo Baloncesto holding the fifth position. This win marked the team's third consecutive victory. During the game, Parham showcased his skills by scoring 9 points, grabbing 2 rebounds, and providing 1 assist in 31 minutes of play. His performance was instrumental in securing the victory for his team, ultimately leading them to be crowned as the champion of the game. Throughout the season, Parham has maintained solid statistics, averaging 12.9 points, 2.6 rebounds, and 2.5 assists per game over 34 appearances.
