We bring you last week's top former Panthers players who are currently playing in pro basketball.
#1. Xavier Eaglin, a 6'7'' power forward who is 29 years old and a PVAMU graduate from 2018, currently plays professionally in the TBL. In a recent game, Eaglin played a pivotal role in the Muskogee Skykings' narrow 2-point victory over the Dallas Stampede, with a final score of 114-112. Despite the Skykings holding an 8-10 record this season, Eaglin's performance was instrumental in securing this crucial win, which snapped a three-game losing streak for his team. With only two games remaining in the regular season, every match is now of utmost importance.
During the game against the Dallas Stampede, Eaglin showcased his skills by contributing 6 points and pulling down 8 rebounds in just 25 minutes of play. His impressive statistics, coupled with his decisive actions on the court, demonstrated the qualities of a true champion. Throughout the season, Eaglin has maintained an average of 4.8 points per game and 5.3 rebounds per game, highlighting his consistent performance and value to the team.
It is worth noting that Eaglin has previously participated in the Eurobasket Summer League, a prestigious platform for aspiring basketball players looking to pursue opportunities overseas. This background further underscores Eaglin's talent and ambition in the realm of professional basketball.
