Here is the weekly review of the top performing Horned Frogs alumni, who are currently playing in pro basketball.
#1. Jameer Nelson Jr., a 25-year-old point guard standing at 6'1" who graduated from TCU in 2024 and received the All-Big 12 Honorable Mention award that year, currently showcases his skills in professional basketball in Puerto Rico. In a recent game for the Piratas de Quebradillas, despite his noteworthy performance, the team was unable to secure a victory. The sixth-placed Quebradillas suffered a 119-112 defeat on the road against the second-ranked Criollos in Group A.
During the game, Nelson Jr. displayed his talent by scoring 17 points, collecting 4 rebounds, and providing 5 assists in a total of 40 minutes of play. His contributions were commendable, yet they were not enough to lead his team to a win against the tough opposition.
Throughout the season, Nelson Jr. has consistently delivered impressive individual performances, boasting notable statistics. He maintains averages of 16.1 points per game, 3.4 rebounds per game, 2.9 assists per game, and 1.9 steals per game, showcasing his versatility and impact on the court. Despite the team's challenges, Nelson Jr. continues to excel as a standout player in the league.
#2. JaKobe Coles, a 25-year-old 6'8'' forward and a proud alumnus of the Lopes since 2025, previously honed his skills at TCU from 2021 to 2024 before transitioning to professional basketball in Croatia. In a recent game, Coles, despite his commendable performance, was unable to assist Samobor (18-15) in securing a victory as they were defeated 86-81 at home by the lower-ranked Dubrovnik (#5) in a fiercely contested match last Wednesday. Coles showcased his prowess by contributing 16 points and 7 rebounds in just 21 minutes of play, establishing himself as the team's second-best scorer. This season marks Coles' debut with the team, and he has been displaying solid performance statistics, averaging 13.0 points, 5.6 rebounds, 1.4 assists, and 1.1 steals per game. Despite his notable contributions, Samobor fell short in the game, highlighting the competitive nature of the league and the challenges faced by Coles and his teammates in their quest to emerge as champions.
#3. Jaire Grayer, a 6'5'' guard who graduated from TCU in 2020 and currently plays professionally in Mexico, was unable to lead Zonkeys de Tijuana to victory in their recent game against the Astros. Despite Grayer's standout performance, where he scored 15 points and secured 7 rebounds in 30 minutes, Tijuana suffered a heavy 92-72 defeat in Guadalajara against the top-ranked Astros.
Grayer emerged as the top scorer for his team in the game, showcasing his skills on the court. Even though he also contributed 7 rebounds and 2 assists, Tijuana couldn't secure the win against the strong opposition. With only one more game left in the Regular Season, the upcoming match holds significant importance for the team.
Throughout the season, Grayer has maintained an average of 8.1 points per game and 3.3 rebounds per game. Despite the challenging loss to the Astros, Grayer's consistent performance and contributions highlight his role as a key player for Zonkeys de Tijuana as they aim to secure a spot in the playoffs.
#4. Xavier Cork, a 6'9'' forward and 25-year-old alumnus of Horned Frogs from 2024, currently playing professionally in Holland, showcased his talent by leading his Dutch team Den Bosch to a resounding victory against the 16th-ranked Belfius Mons-Hainaut with a dominating score of 107-57 in the BNXT League on Saturday night. Despite only playing for 18 minutes, Cork managed to contribute significantly with 11 points, 5 rebounds, and 4 assists.
Den Bosch, also known as Heroes, holds the seventh position in the league standings with a record of 19-14. This win was especially crucial for the team as it marked their first victory after suffering three consecutive losses. The victory against Union Mons highlighted Cork's exceptional skills and leadership on the court, further solidifying his reputation as a champion.
Throughout the season, Cork has been consistent, averaging 8.8 points, 4.6 rebounds, and 1.4 assists per game, showcasing his value as a key player for Den Bosch. As the Regular Season has already concluded in the BNXT League, Cork's performance has undoubtedly been instrumental in leading his team towards success as they aim for further accomplishments in the upcoming tournaments.
#5. Trazarien White, a 6'6'' forward who graduated from TCU in 2025 and now plays professionally in Australia, recently led the Knox Raiders to a resounding victory over the 19th-ranked United team, with a final score of 103-75 in the Australian NBL One second division match held on Saturday night. White's stellar performance earned him the title of MVP for the game, as he contributed 22 points, 5 rebounds, and 3 assists during his 28 minutes on the court. This remarkable display is particularly impressive considering that White is currently in his debut season in professional basketball. The Knox Raiders, currently standing at 8-3, hold the second position in the South group standings.
White's outstanding skills were on full display in the game against Geelong, where he once again scored 22 points, grabbed 5 rebounds, and provided 3 assists to lead his team to victory. His exceptional performance underscores his abilities as a true champion on the court.
Individually, White is having a remarkable season with impressive statistics. He boasts an average of 23.7 points per game, ranking him third best in the league, along with 6.2 rebounds, 2.6 assists, and 1.8 steals per game. These numbers further solidify White's position as a standout finalist in the league.

In a recent game, he was unable to lead Bashkimi to victory against Trepca. Despite his best efforts, Anderson managed to contribute 9 points, 4 rebounds, and 4 assists in 28 minutes of play. Unfortunately, his team suffered a 94-79 defeat.
Throughout the season, Anderson has been maintaining relatively good statistics with an average of 12.5 points, 2.7 rebounds, and 4.5 assists per game.
