We bring you last week's top former Panthers players who are currently playing in pro basketball.
#1. Terrell Brown-Soares, a 6'10'' forward/center who is 27 years old and graduated from San Diego in 2022, showcased his prowess in a recent game for Rayos de Hermosillo in the Mexican Circuito de Baloncesto de la Costa del Pacifico. Playing against Ostioneros de Guaymas, one of the league's weaker teams, Brown-Soares led his team to a 104-100 victory on Friday night. His impressive double-double performance included scoring 20 points and grabbing 11 rebounds in just 32 minutes of play.
Despite Rayos de Hermosillo being ranked ninth in the league with a record of 17-23, Brown-Soares' exceptional skills have been a vital contribution to the team's success. The Regular Season has come to a close, with Brown-Soares consistently proving himself as a standout player on the court.
His noteworthy performance against Guaymas not only secured the victory for his team but also earned him the prestigious Triple-Double Badge from eurobasket.com. With an average of 9.2 points, 5.7 rebounds, and 1.5 blocks per game (ranked fourth in the league) in the 20 games he has played this year, Brown-Soares continues to demonstrate his talent and determination as a true champion in the league.
#2. Jared Wilson-Frame, a 6'5'' shooting guard and former Panthers alumnus from 2019, showcased his skills in leading Pioneros de Los Mochis to a thrilling victory over the closely-ranked Halcones de Ciudad Obregon in the Mexican Circuito de Baloncesto de la Costa del Pacifico. In the intense Friday night matchup, Wilson-Frame's impressive performance was instrumental in securing the win for his team.
Scoring 19 points, grabbing 9 rebounds, and dishing out 7 assists during the game, Wilson-Frame's impact on the court was undeniable. His flawless free throw shooting, going 5 for 5 from the line, further highlighted his contribution to the team's success. This outstanding display of talent not only secured the victory for Pioneros de Los Mochis but also solidified Wilson-Frame's position as the champion in the game.
Despite Pioneros de Los Mochis currently ranking sixth in the league with a record of 17-19, Wilson-Frame's addition to the team in his first season has proven to be a valuable asset. His remarkable averages of 17.5 points, 4.1 rebounds, 3.3 assists, and 1.1 steals per game over the course of 35 games further emphasize his significant impact and contribution to the team's performance. Wilson-Frame's exceptional year with impressive statistics demonstrates his prowess as a standout player and a true champion on the court.
#3. In the recent game, Damian Dunn, a 6'5'' guard who graduated from Pittsburgh in 2025 and currently plays professionally in Israel, could not lead Hapoel Altshuler Shaham Beer Sheva to a victory. Despite his commendable effort, the team suffered a heavy defeat, losing 105-68 on the road to the lower-ranked Ironi Nes-Ziona, currently positioned at #9 in the league standings.
Dunn, the second-best scorer for his team in this game, managed to contribute 13 points during his 34 minutes on the court. Despite his solid performance, H.Be'er Sheva faced their fourth consecutive loss, highlighting the challenging period the team is going through. With only three games remaining in the Regular Season, each upcoming game becomes increasingly crucial for the team's standings and playoff hopes.
Although Dunn showcased an impressive display against Ironi Nes-Ziona, scoring 13 points and grabbing 2 rebounds, his individual efforts were not enough to secure a victory for his team. Throughout the season, Dunn has maintained relatively good statistics, averaging 13.5 points, 3.4 rebounds, and 2.2 assists per game in the 12 games he has played so far.
#4. In the recent game, Ishmael Leggett, a 6'3'' guard and Panthers alumnus from 2025 currently playing professionally in Romania, unfortunately couldn't lead Craiova (17-11) to a victory. Despite his commendable performance, Craiova suffered a 75-85 defeat at home against the top-ranked Cluj Napoca. Leggett showcased his skills by contributing 10 points, 7 rebounds, and 4 assists in just 20 minutes of play. Despite his impressive individual performance, Craiova was unable to secure the win.
Throughout the season, Leggett has maintained strong statistics, averaging 18.1 points, 5.0 rebounds, 3.3 assists, and 1.3 steals per game across 32 appearances. His consistent performance highlights his value as a key player for his team, even in challenging matchups against tough opponents like Cluj Napoca.
#5. Experienced champion Lamar Patterson, a 6'5'' guard/forward who is 34 years old and graduated from Pittsburgh in 2014, currently plays professionally in Australia. In a recent game, despite his exceptional performance, the tenth-placed Ipswich Force (1-3) suffered a significant 102-83 defeat at the hands of the second-ranked Thunder in the North group in Loganholme. Patterson, the team's champion, led the scoring with 22 points while also contributing 4 rebounds and 5 assists during his 33 minutes on the court. This loss marked Ipswich Force's third consecutive defeat, but it is still early in the season, and there is potential for improvement.
Patterson showcased his skills in the game against Logan T., delivering an impressive performance with 22 points, 4 rebounds, and 5 assists. Despite his standout efforts, the team, unfortunately, fell short of securing the victory. Individually, Patterson has been having a strong season, averaging 15.5 points, 3.0 rebounds, 5.5 assists, and 1.5 steals per game over two matches.
#6. Au'Diese Toney, a 6'6'' guard and 26-year-old Razorbacks alumnus from 2022, previously played for Pittsburgh between 2018 and 2021 before joining a professional team in Canada. In a recent match, Toney, though a standout player, could not lead the Edmonton Stingers to victory against the Sea Bears, with his team narrowly losing 77-75. Toney made his debut for the Edmonton Stingers this season, scoring 8 points in 29 minutes of play. In another game against Winnipeg, Toney showcased his skills by contributing 8 points, 3 rebounds, and 2 assists. Despite his impressive performance, the Edmonton Stingers were unable to secure a win, leaving Toney and his team disappointed.
