Here is the weekly review of the top performing Spiders alumni, who are currently playing in pro basketball.
Especially interesting is good performance of Grant Golden (10 points), Blake Francis (24 points), and DeLonnie Hunt (16 points).
#1. Grant Golden, a 28-year-old center standing at 6'10'' who graduated from Richmond in 2022, showcased his skills in a recent pro game in France. Playing for ES Chalon-Sur-Saone, Golden helped lead his team to a dominant 93-58 victory over league underdog Le Portel, who had a record of 1-28. Golden's stellar performance included a double-double with 10 points and 12 rebounds, along with 4 assists in just 24 minutes of play.
ES Chalon-Sur-Saone, currently ranked ninth in the league with a record of 15-14, secured their third consecutive win with Golden's noteworthy contributions. With only one more game left in the Regular Season, the upcoming match holds significant importance for the team.
Golden's impressive stats for the season include averaging 10.1 points, 6.4 rebounds, and 3.3 assists per game in the 13 games he has played so far. His standout showing in the recent game against Le Portel not only helped his team emerge victorious but also earned him the title of champion of the match.
#2. Blake Francis, a 6'0'' point guard and 28-year-old Spiders alumni from the class of 2021, currently plays professionally in Italy. In a recent game, despite his impressive performance, Francis could not lead Avellino to victory as they were defeated 76-58 on the road by the higher-ranked (#3) Fortitudo BO. Francis emerged as the top scorer of the game with 24 points and also contributed 3 assists in 30 minutes of play.
His exceptional performance against Fortitudo BO showcased his scoring ability, as he not only scored 24 points but also secured 2 rebounds and provided 3 assists. Despite his individual efforts, Avellino was unable to secure a win in that match.
Throughout the season, Francis has maintained high statistics, averaging 23.5 points per game, along with 1.3 rebounds, 4.0 assists, and 1.8 steals per game across four games. His consistent performance highlights his importance to the team, even though the final result of the last game did not reflect his efforts.
#3. DeLonnie Hunt, a 6'0'' point guard who is 24 years old and a recent graduate from Richmond in 2025, is currently playing professionally in Croatia. In the last game, Hunt was unable to lead his team Dinamo (10-23) to victory as they suffered a significant 110-91 defeat against the much higher-ranked (#4) Samobor on the opponent's court. Despite the loss, Hunt showcased a commendable performance by scoring 16 points, securing 4 rebounds, and delivering 6 assists during his 40 minutes on the court. This performance is particularly impressive considering that it is his first season in professional basketball. Unfortunately, this defeat marked Dinamo's tenth consecutive loss.
Hunt's contributions have been notable throughout the season, with an average of 14.9 points, 4.1 rebounds, 4.4 assists, and 1.3 steals per game in the 32 games played. Despite the challenging circumstances, Hunt continues to demonstrate his skills and potential as a promising player in the league.

Bigelow's performance in the game was outstanding, earning him the title of MVP. Despite only being in his second season in professional basketball, he managed to score 17 points, grab 6 rebounds, and make 2 blocks in just 27 minutes of play. This impressive performance was crucial in securing the win for his team in a highly anticipated matchup between two of the top 3 ranked teams in the group Play-Off. Currently, Bigelow's team, Arconic-Alba Fehervar, is placed second in the league with a record of 15-11, and this is Bigelow's first year with the team.
Throughout the season, Bigelow has been delivering consistently good performances, averaging 13.8 points, 8.1 rebounds, 1.2 assists, and 1.5 steals per game in 32 appearances. His contributions on both ends of the court have been instrumental in his team's success, and his recent stellar showing against Sopron KC further solidified his reputation as a champion player.
