Every week we bring you a list of the top former Bluejays players who continue their career in pro basketball.
#1. KeyShawn Feazell, a 6'9'' forward who graduated from Creighton in 2022 after helping them reach the final of the Big East Tournament that year, currently plays professionally in Greece. In a recent game, despite his strong performance, Feazell was unable to prevent AEK, currently at the top of the league with a 6-0 record, from losing 86-92 at home to Rytas, the other league leader. Feazell contributed 15 points and 8 rebounds in 29 minutes of play, showcasing his skills on the court.
Even though Feazell displayed an impressive performance by scoring 15 points and securing 8 rebounds against Rytas, his team ultimately fell short and suffered a defeat. Throughout this season, Feazell has been averaging 6.0 points per game and 4.0 rebounds per game in the 11 games he has participated in so far.
#2. Slovenian Martin Krampelj, a 6'9'' power forward and Bluejays alumnus from 2019, is currently playing professionally in Spain. Despite his notable performance, Krampelj could not prevent Surne Bilbao Basket (17-14) from losing their last game on the road to the lower-ranked (#13) Lleida, with a final score of 81-90. Krampelj emerged as the second-best scorer for his team, contributing 11 points in just 20 minutes of play.
With only four games remaining in the Regular Season, each upcoming match will be crucial for Bilbao. This marks Krampelj's first season with the team, and he has been maintaining an average of 8.3 points and 3.4 rebounds per game in the 31 games he has participated in so far. In the recent game against Lleida, Krampelj displayed an impressive performance by notching up 11 points, 3 rebounds, and 1 assist. Despite his commendable efforts, Bilbao could not secure a victory in this match.
#3. Steven Ashworth, a 6'1'' guard who graduated from Creighton in 2025 and received the All-Big East Second Team award that year, is currently playing professionally in Germany. Recently, he played a crucial role in leading VET-CONCEPT Gladiators Trier to a significant win over the 13th-ranked MBC with a score of 85-78 in the German easyCredit BBL. In this standout performance on Sunday night, Ashworth was named the MVP of the game after scoring 21 points and providing 6 assists in just 25 minutes of play. This remarkable display is particularly impressive given that this is his debut season in professional basketball.
VET-CONCEPT Gladiators Trier, currently standing at seventh place in the league with a record of 17-17, secured their first victory in the league after a series of five consecutive losses. With only one more game left in the Regular Season, the upcoming match will be critical for the team's standings. Ashworth continued to shine in their game against Weissenfels, contributing significantly with 21 points, 3 rebounds, and 6 assists, ultimately leading his team to victory as the champion.
Throughout the season, Ashworth has maintained solid statistics, averaging 11.3 points, 2.7 rebounds, and 5.3 assists per game in the 18 games he has played so far. His exceptional performances on the court have undoubtedly established him as a key player and a valuable asset to his team.
#4. Alex O'Connell, a 26-year-old forward/guard standing at 6'6" and an alum of the Bluejays from 2022, showcased his skills in the recent game for his German team. He played a significant role in their dominating 83-65 victory over the 16th-ranked Science City Jena in the German easyCredit BBL. Despite only playing for 10 minutes, O'Connell managed to score an impressive 10 points, demonstrating his efficiency on the court.
Currently playing for a team in Germany, O'Connell has been a key player for his squad. With his noteworthy performance against Jena, he further solidified his position as a champion of the game. His contributions not only helped secure the win but also highlighted his value to the team.
As Alba Berlin holds the second position in the league with a record of 24-10, O'Connell's team is gearing up for their final game of the Regular Season, which holds significant importance for their standings. O'Connell's consistent performance throughout the season, averaging 6.4 points and 2.7 rebounds per game in 20 appearances, has been instrumental in his team's success.
#5. Marcus Foster, a 6'3'' shooting guard who is 30 years old and graduated from Creighton in 2018, currently plays professionally in Japan. In a recent game, Foster, despite his strong performance, was unable to assist Alvark Tokyo, which is currently in fourth place with a record of 41-19. The team suffered a 78-93 defeat to the top-ranked Velca in the East group in Nagasaki.
During the match, Foster showcased his skills by contributing 12 points, 3 assists, and 3 steals in 30 minutes of play. This game marked Alvark Tokyo's first loss following a streak of six consecutive victories. Despite Foster's notable performance of 12 points, 2 rebounds, and 3 assists against Nagasaki, his team was unable to secure a win.
Throughout the season, Foster has been having an impressive year individually, maintaining high statistics with an average of 15.7 points, 3.0 rebounds, and 3.2 assists per game in the 61 games played so far.
#6. Khyri Thomas, a 6'3'' forward/guard and a 30-year-old former Bluejays alumnus from 2018, currently plays professionally in Germany. He recently faced off against the aforementioned Steven Ashworth in the German easyCredit BBL in his last game.
In his most recent game, Thomas was unable to lead SYNTAINICS MBC Weissenfels (13-21) to victory. Despite his strong individual performance, Weissenfels suffered a 78-85 loss to the higher-ranked Gladiators, who hold the #7 position in the league standings. Thomas contributed 12 points, 5 rebounds, 4 assists, and 3 steals in 36 minutes of play.
Although Thomas showcased his skills by scoring 12 points, grabbing 5 rebounds, and dishing out 4 assists against Trier, his team ultimately fell short and could not secure the win.
Throughout the season, Thomas has maintained solid statistics, averaging 15.0 points, 4.1 rebounds, 3.6 assists, and 1.6 steals per game, making him the fourth-best in the league in steals.
#7. Ryan Hawkins, a 6'7'' power forward who is 29 years old and a Creighton University graduate from the class of 2022, currently plays professionally in Germany. Recently, Hawkins was unable to lead Fraport Skyliners Frankfurt (12-22) to a victory in their latest game against the higher-ranked (#12) Chemnitz, where they lost 82-86 on the road. Despite Hawkins' stellar performance of scoring 15 points and securing 9 rebounds in 37 minutes of play, Frankfurt couldn't secure the win.
Throughout the season, Hawkins has been contributing consistently to the team's efforts, averaging 8.1 points, 3.9 rebounds, 1.3 assists, and 1.1 steals per game in the 34 games played so far. Despite the challenging loss in the recent game, Hawkins continues to be a key player for Fraport Skyliners Frankfurt as they strive to improve their standing in the league.
#8. Shereef Mitchell, a 6'1'' guard and 25-year-old Bobcats alum from 2025, showcased his talent in Tuesday night's game as he led Phoenix-MT to a resounding victory over the closely-ranked PVSK-Veolia in the Hungarian Nemzeti Bajnoksag I/B Piros. Mitchell, who previously played at Creighton between 2019 and 2023 before turning pro in Hungary, put on a stellar performance that earned him the MVP title of the game. Scoring an impressive 33 points, securing 5 rebounds, providing 3 assists, and making 3 steals in just 30 minutes of play, Mitchell's exceptional abilities were on full display.
His outstanding contributions were instrumental in his team's dominant win over PVSK-Veolia, solidifying his status as the true champion of the game. Throughout the season, Mitchell has maintained impressive statistics, averaging 21.9 points, 4.9 rebounds, 3.1 assists, and 2.1 steals per game, ranking him as the fourth-best steal performer in the league. Mitchell's consistent high-level performance throughout the year highlights his potential as a standout player and a key asset for his team.
#9. Experienced champion Will Artino, a 6'11'' center/forward who is 33 years old and graduated from Creighton in 2015, showcased his skills on Thursday night by leading his Taiwanese team, Taoyuan Pilots, to a thrilling 80-79 victory over the fourth-ranked Xac Broncos in the Basketball Champions League Asia. In a closely contested game, Artino's exceptional performance earned him the MVP title as he recorded a double-double with 20 points and 17 rebounds, along with 3 assists and 2 blocks in just 27 minutes of play.
Facing off against the Xac Broncos, Artino displayed his prowess on the court, delivering an impressive stat line of 20 points, 17 rebounds, and 3 assists to secure the narrow win for his team. His outstanding display granted him the prestigious Triple-Double Badge from eurobasket.com, further establishing his reputation as a champion player.
Throughout the season, Artino has been consistently excelling, averaging 17.5 points per game, 13.0 rebounds per game (the second-best in the league), 3.0 assists per game, and 1.3 steals per game in six games played. His remarkable individual performance reflects his dedication and skill on the basketball court.
It is noteworthy that Artino holds dual American and Taiwanese citizenship, allowing him to play in Taiwan as a domestic player, which has undoubtedly contributed to his success as a finalist in the Basketball Champions League Asia.
