We bring you last week's top former Rebels players who are currently playing in pro basketball.



   #1. Breein Tyree, a 6'2'' guard who graduated from Ole Miss in 2020 and received the USBWA All-District IV Team award that year, currently plays professionally in Greece. Recently, he led his team PAOK to a significant victory over the closely-ranked Peristeri with a final score of 77-72 in the Greek Stoiximan Basketball League. Tyree's exceptional performance earned him the MVP title of the game, as he contributed 19 points and 5 assists in 32 minutes of play. PAOK Mateco Thessaloniki, with a record of 17-7, holds the third position in the league standings, thanks in part to Tyree's consistent contributions. The recent win marked the team's sixth consecutive victory, showcasing their strong form. Tyree's remarkable display on the court against Peristeri, where he not only scored 19 points but also secured 3 rebounds and provided 5 assists, was instrumental in securing the win for his team, solidifying his reputation as a champion. Individually, Tyree is having an impressive season with notable statistics, averaging 15.8 points, 3.0 rebounds, 5.1 assists, and 1.1 steals per game. His consistent performance and leadership have been key factors in PAOK's success this season, further establishing him as a standout player in the league.

   #2. Devontae Shuler, a 6'2'' guard and 28-year-old Rebels alumni from 2021 who received the All-SEC First Team award that year, currently plays professionally in the Dominican Republic. Despite his remarkable performance, Shuler was unable to lead the struggling Soles (2-8) to victory in their recent game last Saturday. The bottom-ranked Soles suffered a 105-99 defeat on the road against the higher-ranked Heroes (#3). In the game against the Heroes, Shuler showcased his skills by contributing 26 points, 5 rebounds, and 2 assists in 38 minutes of play. Despite his impressive individual performance, his team fell short and couldn't secure the win. Throughout the season, Shuler has maintained strong statistics, averaging 15.5 points, 2.3 rebounds, and 1.8 assists per game. His consistent performance highlights his talent and contribution to the team, even in the face of challenging matchups against tough opponents like the Heroes.

   #3. Experienced Polish player Tomasz Gielo, a 6'9'' forward aged 33 who graduated from Ole Miss in 2016 and currently plays professionally in Poland, was unable to lead King Szczecin (21-9) to victory in their recent match last Wednesday. Despite Gielo's commendable performance, King ultimately suffered an 88-84 defeat at the hands of the top-ranking Legia in Warszawa. Gielo showcased his skills by contributing 14 points, 7 rebounds, and 3 assists in 34 minutes of gameplay, making him the second-highest scorer for his team. With only three games remaining in the Regular Season, each upcoming match will be crucial for King Szczecin. Despite Gielo's impressive performance against Legia, where he displayed his scoring ability, rebounding prowess, and playmaking skills, his team fell short and was unable to secure the win. Throughout the season, Gielo has maintained solid statistics, averaging 12.9 points, 5.8 rebounds, and 1.4 assists per game.

   #4. Panamanian Luis Rodriguez, a 6'6'' guard and 27-year-old former Runnin'Rebels alumnus from 2024 who previously played at Ole Miss from 2018 to 2022, showcased his basketball talent in Brazil by leading Sesi/Franca Sao Paulo to a resounding victory over the ninth-ranked Mogi with a final score of 97-65 in the Brazilian Novo Basquete Brasil on Friday night. In an impressive performance, Rodriguez contributed 14 points, 6 rebounds, and 3 blocks in just 21 minutes of play, a remarkable feat considering he is only in his second season of professional basketball. Sesi/Franca Sao Paulo, with a record of 32-6, currently holds the top spot in the league standings, thanks in part to Rodriguez's stellar play. This win marked Sesi/Franca Sao Paulo's tenth consecutive victory, with Rodriguez's significant contributions on both ends of the court being pivotal to the team's success. Against Mogi, Rodriguez once again displayed his skills by scoring 14 points, grabbing 6 rebounds, and providing 1 assist. His standout performance was crucial in securing the victory for his team and ultimately leading them to be crowned the champion of the game. Throughout the season, Rodriguez has maintained solid statistics with an average of 10.1 points per game, 4.2 rebounds per game, 1.4 assists per game, and 1.1 steals per game, further solidifying his impact as a key player for Sesi/Franca Sao Paulo.

   #5. Stefan Moody, a 5'11'' point guard who is 32 years old and graduated from Ole Miss in 2016, currently plays professionally in Turkey. Recently, he led Pinar Karsiyaka SK Izmir to a thrilling 84-82 victory over the closely-ranked Bursaspor in the Turkish ING Basketbol Super Ligi. In this game, Moody showcased his skills by scoring 16 points, grabbing 4 rebounds, and providing 2 assists during his 34 minutes on the court. Despite Pinar Karsiyaka SK Izmir being placed 14th in the league with a record of 9-21, Moody's exceptional performance in the game against Bursaspor was instrumental in helping his team secure the victory. The Regular Season has already concluded, and Moody's impressive season averages of 11.2 points, 3.2 rebounds, and 4.5 assists reflect his consistent contribution to the team throughout the season. With his stellar performance in the game, Moody played a crucial role in leading Pinar Karsiyaka SK Izmir to victory and ultimately emerging as the champion in that match.

   #6. Spanish champion Sebastian Saiz, a 31-year-old 6'9'' power forward and Rebels alumnus from 2017, currently plays professionally in Japan. In a recent game last Thursday, Saiz, who received the USBWA All-District IV Team award in 2017, unfortunately could not lead Alvark Tokyo (41-19) to victory. Despite his commendable performance, the fourth-placed Alvark Tokyo suffered a 93-78 defeat in Nagasaki against the leading Velca in the East group. During the game, Saiz showcased his skills by scoring 10 points, making all eight of his free throws, in 29 minutes of play. Additionally, he contributed significantly with 3 rebounds and 2 assists against Nagasaki. Despite his remarkable efforts, his team ultimately fell short and ended up on the losing side. Throughout the season, Saiz has been performing exceptionally well, boasting impressive statistics. He maintains an average of 16.9 points per game, 7.2 rebounds per game, and 1.4 assists per game, highlighting his valuable contributions on the court.

   #7. Jayveous McKinnis, a 6'7'' forward who graduated from Ole Miss in 2023 and currently plays professionally in Cyprus, showcased his skills in a recent game for AEK Larnaca. Despite his solid performance, where he scored 10 points, grabbed 7 rebounds, and blocked 3 shots in 39 minutes of play, AEK Larnaca, the league leader with a 22-1 record, suffered a 75-68 defeat at the hands of the second-ranked Keravnos. McKinnis demonstrated his talent against Keravnos by contributing 10 points and 7 rebounds to the game. However, even with his notable efforts, his team was unable to secure the victory. Throughout the season, McKinnis has maintained impressive statistics, averaging 14.0 points, 9.8 rebounds, 1.3 assists, 1.4 blocks (the second best in the league), and 1.2 steals per game.

   #8. Lithuanian Justas Furmanavicius, a 6'7'' forward who is 31 years old and an alum of the Rebels from 2018, currently plays professionally in Lithuania. In a recent game last Sunday, Furmanavicius was unable to lead Lietkabelis (14-16) to victory as they suffered a tough loss to the top-ranked Zalgiris in Kaunas, with a final score of 87-70. Despite his commendable efforts, recording 11 points and 5 rebounds in 28 minutes of play, Lietkabelis could not overcome Zalgiris' dominance. Furmanavicius displayed a strong performance against the formidable opponent, contributing 11 points, 5 rebounds, and 1 assist. Unfortunately, his team fell short and was defeated in the end. Throughout this season, Furmanavicius has been averaging 7.7 points, 2.9 rebounds, and 1.4 assists per game, showcasing his consistent contributions to the team's efforts.

   #9. Josh Mballa, a 6'7'' forward who graduated from Ole Miss in 2023 and currently plays professionally in France, played a significant role in Elan Bearnais Pau-Lacq-Orthez's recent triumph over the sixth-ranked JA Vichy with a score of 72-62 in the French ELITE 2 league, the second division of basketball in France. In this game, the 26-year-old athlete showcased his skills as a finalist, contributing 6 points, 6 rebounds, and 2 assists in just 18 minutes of play. His all-around performance was crucial in securing the victory for his team, underlining his capabilities as a champion on the court. Throughout the season, Mballa has been maintaining solid averages of 7.2 points, 5.4 rebounds, and 1.1 steals per game. It is noteworthy that he holds dual American and French citizenship, allowing him to compete in France as a domestic player and further enriching his basketball career.

   #10. Jarvis Summers, a 6'3'' guard and 33-year-old Rebels alumni from 2015, showcased his skills as a professional basketball player in Indonesia. In a recent game in the Indonesian Basketball League, he led Hangtuah to a decisive 72-53 victory over the closely-ranked RANS PIK on Sunday night. Summers displayed his versatility on the court by contributing 14 points, 6 rebounds, 4 assists, and 3 steals in 35 minutes of play. His impressive performance, including scoring 14 points, grabbing 6 rebounds, and distributing 4 assists, was instrumental in securing the win for Hangtuah, ultimately leading his team to be crowned as the champion. Summers' consistent performance throughout the season is reflected in his solid statistics of 12.3 points per game, 6.8 rebounds per game, 8.8 assists per game, and 1.5 steals per game.
