Here is the weekly review of the top performing Yellow Jackets alumni, who are currently playing in pro basketball.
#1. Moses Wright, a 6'10'' center who graduated from Georgia Tech in 2021 and was named the All-ACC Player of the Year, currently plays professionally in Lithuania. In a recent Euroleague game, he led his team Zalgiris to a narrow 81-78 victory over the closely-ranked Fenerbahce. Wright's performance was exceptional as he scored 11 points, grabbed 6 rebounds, and provided 1 assist in a total of 32 minutes of play. Zalgiris Kaunas, where Wright plays, holds the fifth position in the league with a record of 23-15.
Wright's contributions on the court against Fenerbahce were instrumental in securing the victory for his team, highlighting his skills and determination as a champion. His consistent performance throughout the season is evident from his impressive stats of 13.2 points per game and 6.5 rebounds per game in the 42 games he has played so far. Wright's dedication and talent make him a standout finalist in the world of professional basketball.
#2. U.S. Virgin Islands champion Marcus Georges-Hunt, a 6'5'' forward aged 32 and an alumnus of Yellow Jackets from 2016, currently plays professionally in Turkey. In a recent game, despite Georges-Hunt's impressive performance, he could not prevent his team, Bursaspor Basketbol (10-20), from being narrowly defeated 84-82 on the road by the lower-ranked (#14) Pinar Karsiyaka. George-Hunt showcased his skills by scoring 26 points in 33 minutes, making him the top scorer of the game. This loss marked Bursaspor Basketbol's first defeat following a streak of three consecutive victories in the Regular Season, which has now concluded.

Despite his solid contributions, his team fell short of securing the victory. Throughout the season, Georges-Hunt has maintained respectable statistics, averaging 13.1 points, 2.7 rebounds, and 1.9 assists per game over 10 appearances.
It is worth noting that Marcus Georges-Hunt is a champion from the U.S. Virgin Islands and holds citizenship in the region.
#3. Michael Devoe, a 6'5'' guard who graduated from Georgia Tech in 2022 and received the All-ACC Third Team award that year, is currently playing professionally in Turkey for Turk Telekom Ankara. In the team's recent game against the lower-ranked Manisa, despite Devoe's solid performance with 10 points, 4 rebounds, and 3 assists in 27 minutes, Turk Telekom suffered a 75-83 loss on their opponent's court. Playing against the higher-ranked Aguada (#3), Hebraica (16-16) suffered a 73-78 defeat in a highly anticipated derby match in the Places 1-6 group.

#5. Puerto Rican Joseph Alvarado, a 6'0'' point guard aged 28 who graduated from Georgia Tech in 2021 and received the All-ACC Defensive Player of the Year award that year, currently showcases his skills in the NBA. In a recent game against the Philadelphia 76ers, his team achieved a resounding 144-114 victory, with Alvarado making a notable contribution by scoring 7 points in just 10 minutes of play. #10. Javian McCollum, a 6'2'' guard and 24-year-old former Yellow Jackets alum from the class of 2025, showcased his skills playing professionally in Holland for Zorg and Zekerheid Leiden. In a recent BNXT League game, he helped his team secure a resounding victory over the 15th-ranked Leeuwarden, with a final score of 100-74 on Wednesday night.
