   #1. Donta Scott, a 25-year-old, 6'8'' forward who graduated from Maryland in 2024, is currently playing professionally in France. In a recent game, he led Nanterre 92 to a resounding 87-69 victory over the 13th-ranked JDA Dijon in the French Betclic ELITE league. Scott's stellar performance earned him the title of MVP of the game, as he achieved a double-double with 22 points and 10 rebounds in just 30 minutes of play. This remarkable display of skill is especially impressive considering he is only in his second season of professional basketball. Nanterre 92, currently placed second in the league with a record of 20-8, is gearing up for the final stretch of the Regular Season, with only two games remaining. Each game has now become crucial as teams jockey for playoff positioning. Scott's noteworthy contribution of 22 points, 10 rebounds, and 1 assist against Dijon not only showcased his talent but also played a pivotal role in securing the victory for his team, crowning him the champion of the game. Throughout the season, Scott has maintained solid statistics, averaging 11.5 points per game and 4.6 rebounds per game, further solidifying his position as a standout player in the league.

   #2. In a spectacular performance, Melo Trimble, a 31-year-old, 6'3'' guard and Terrapins alumnus from 2018, showcased his talent by leading his Russian team CSKA to a resounding victory over the eighth-ranked Enisey (15-25), with a convincing scoreline of 94-65 in the VTB United League on Sunday night. Trimble, who plays professionally in Russia, proved to be the standout player of the game, earning the well-deserved MVP title by contributing 22 points and 5 assists in just 15 minutes of play. The dominant performance not only secured the win for his team but also marked CSKA Moscow (37-3) at the top of the league standings. This victory marked CSKA's impressive tenth consecutive win, highlighting their strong form in the league. Trimble, in his first season with the team, continues to shine as a key player, delivering an exceptional performance against Enisey, ultimately leading his team to be crowned as the champion of the game. His remarkable season statistics further attest to his outstanding skills, with an average of 18.5 points per game (ranking third best in the league), along with 2.8 rebounds, 4.1 assists, and 1.8 steals per game (also placing third best in the league).

   #3. Jake Layman, a 6'9'' forward who graduated from Maryland in 2016 and received an All-Big Ten Honorable Mention award that year, currently plays professionally in Japan. Recently, Layman led SeaHorses Mikawa to a crucial victory over the ninth-ranked Alphas with a score of 83-75 in the Japanese B1 League. His exceptional performance on Saturday night earned him the MVP title of the game, where he scored an outstanding 28 points, secured 9 rebounds, and executed 3 blocks in just 32 minutes of play. SeaHorses Mikawa, currently placed second in the West group with a record of 43-17, achieved their eighth consecutive victory thanks to Layman's remarkable contributions.    #4. Donald Carey, a 6'5'' guard and Terrapins alumnus from 2023, showcased his talent in Mexico by leading Rayos de Hermosillo to a crucial 99-90 victory over the Caballeros de Culiacan. His exceptional performance earned him the MVP title of the game, where he scored 22 points, grabbed 5 rebounds, and dished out 7 assists in just 31 minutes of play. Despite being in only his third season of professional basketball, Carey's skills and determination on the court were evident as he guided his team to success, solidifying his status as a champion. With Rayos de Hermosillo currently placed ninth in the league with a record of 15-21, every game remaining in the regular season becomes crucial for their standings.    #5. Anthony Cowan Jr., a 6'0'' point guard who graduated from Maryland in 2020 after helping them win the Big Ten Regular Season Champion title, is currently playing professionally in Turkey for Mersin Spor. In a recent game last Saturday, Cowan Jr. put on a remarkable performance despite his team's narrow 88-86 loss at home to the higher-ranked Efes, who are currently at #5 in the standings. Despite his efforts, Mersin Spor fell short in securing a victory, with Cowan Jr. contributing 16 points, 2 rebounds, and 11 assists in 31 minutes of play, showcasing his versatility on the court. With only one game left in the Regular Season, Cowan Jr.'s upcoming match is crucial for his team. Despite Russell's commendable efforts, Cluj Napoca, the league leaders, suffered an 86-73 defeat on the road against the formidable Buducnost. Russell emerged as the standout player of the match, leading his team in scoring with 15 points while also contributing 7 assists and 4 steals in 31 minutes of play. In the challenging game against Buducnost, Russell displayed an impressive performance by scoring 15 points, securing 3 rebounds, and distributing 7 assists. However, despite his remarkable individual contributions, his team ultimately fell short and experienced a defeat.    #7. Experienced Ukrainian center Alex Len, who stands at 7'0'' and is 32 years old, graduated from Maryland in 2013 and received the USBWA All-District III First Team award that year. Currently playing professionally in Spain, Len recently played a crucial role in helping Real Madrid secure a hard-fought victory against the closely-ranked Hapoel Tel-Aviv with a score of 87-81 in the Euroleague on Thursday night. Currently playing professionally in Montenegro, Sulaimon recently faced Daron Russell in the AdmiralBet ABA League's latest game. He played a key role in Buducnost's impressive 86-73 victory over league leaders Cluj Napoca, contributing 10 points and 5 assists in just 25 minutes on the court.    #10. Angolan basketball champion, Bruno Fernando, a 6'10'' center and 27-year-old Terrapins alumni from 2019, currently plays professionally in Serbia. Recently, he showcased his talent while playing for KK Partizan Mozzart Bet Beograd in a thrilling victory against the second-ranked KK Sloboda Uzice, with a final score of 63-55 in the Serbian Meridianbet Kosarkaska lige Srbije on Saturday night. During the game, Fernando contributed significantly by scoring 4 points and grabbing 9 rebounds in just 22 minutes of play. His crucial performance against Sloboda U. not only helped his team secure the win but also highlighted his prowess as a finalist.
