We bring you last week's top former Panthers players who are currently playing in pro basketball.
#1. In a recent game, Damian Dunn, a 6'5'' guard who graduated from Pittsburgh in 2025 and currently plays professionally in Israel, showcased his talent despite his team's loss. Playing for Hapoel Altshuler Shaham Beer Sheva, one of the league's struggling teams, Dunn faced off against Galil Elion and delivered an outstanding performance. Despite H.Be'er Sheva's 78-92 defeat on the road, Dunn emerged as the champion scorer, contributing 24 points and 3 assists in 33 minutes of play. This noteworthy display of skill is particularly impressive considering that Dunn is in his debut season in professional basketball.
Throughout the season, Dunn has maintained solid statistics, averaging 13.9 points, 3.2 rebounds, and 2.5 assists per game in the 10 games he has played thus far. Despite his individual success, Dunn's efforts have not been enough to lift his team to victory in their recent games.
#2. Jared Wilson-Frame, a 6'5'' shooting guard and Panthers alum from 2019, showcased his skills in leading Pioneros de Los Mochis to a decisive victory against the closely-ranked Toros in a recent Mexican Circuito de Baloncesto de la Costa del Pacifico game. With a final score of 108-96, Wilson-Frame's stellar performance included 17 points, 4 rebounds, and 2 assists in 35 minutes of play. This win not only boosted Pioneros de Los Mochis to sixth place in the league but also emphasized the significance of every remaining game as the Regular Season nears its end.
Despite it being his first season with the team, Wilson-Frame has proven himself as a champion on the court. His consistent high-level play is reflected in his impressive season averages of 17.9 points, 4.1 rebounds, and 2.9 assists per game across 30 appearances. As a key player for Pioneros de Los Mochis, Wilson-Frame's contributions have been instrumental in their success, positioning him as a standout finalist in the league.
#3. In a recent game in the Romanian Liga Nationala Baschet de Masculin, the talented player Ishmael Leggett, standing tall at 6'3'' and a guard who graduated from Pittsburgh in 2025, showcased his skills on the court. Playing professionally in Romania, Leggett led his team, SCMU Craiova, to a convincing 89-70 victory against the closely-ranked Voluntari, who held a record of 20-8. Leggett's contribution was instrumental in this important win between two top 4 ranked teams.
Despite it being his debut season in professional basketball, Leggett displayed remarkable talent by scoring 14 points, securing 6 rebounds, and providing 2 assists in just 19 minutes of gameplay. This exceptional performance highlighted his abilities and determination as a champion on the court. Furthermore, this victory marked the third consecutive win for Leggett's team, solidifying their position as a strong contender in the league.
Throughout the season, Leggett has consistently delivered outstanding performances, averaging an impressive 18.4 points, 4.9 rebounds, 3.3 assists, and 1.4 steals per game in the 31 games he has played so far. His remarkable statistics and impactful presence on the court demonstrate his potential as a finalist and his promising future in professional basketball.
#4. In the recent game, Ryan Luther, a 6'9'' power forward and Wildcats alumni from 2019, who previously played in Pittsburgh from 2014 to 2018, unfortunately was unable to lead Osaka Evessa, the ninth-placed team in the West group, to victory. Despite his impressive performance, scoring 17 points and grabbing 6 rebounds in just 23 minutes, Osaka Evessa fell short against the lower-ranked Robots with a final score of 81-87 in Mito.
Even though the Regular Season has concluded, Luther has had a standout year individually, showcasing strong statistics throughout the 56 games played. He has maintained an average of 16.0 points, 6.5 rebounds, and 3.0 assists per game, highlighting his valuable contributions to the team.
In a previous game against Ibaraki R., Luther once again displayed his prowess on the court by scoring 17 points, securing 6 rebounds, and providing 2 assists. Despite his remarkable efforts, his team was unable to secure the victory, showcasing Luther's consistent performance and determination as a champion player.
#5. Terrell Brown-Soares, a 6'10'' forward/center who is 27 years old and graduated from San Diego in 2022, previously played in Pittsburgh from 2017 to 2021 before joining a professional team in Mexico. In a recent game on Tuesday night in the Mexican Circuito de Baloncesto de la Costa del Pacifico, he played a pivotal role in Rayos de Hermosillo's narrow 95-93 victory over the closely-ranked Tijuana Zonkeys (16-17). Brown-Soares contributed 7 points and 3 rebounds during his 21 minutes on the court, proving to be instrumental in securing the crucial win for his team. This outstanding performance led to him being recognized as the champion of the game.
Rayos de Hermosillo currently holds the eighth position in the league with a record of 15-20. With only three games remaining in the Regular Season, each game becomes increasingly important as teams vie for playoff positions. Brown-Soares' consistent performance throughout the season is highlighted by his averages of 7.9 points, 5.4 rebounds, and 1.7 blocks per game, the second-best in the league. His skills and contributions on the court have been vital in propelling his team towards success, making him a key player and a finalist in the league.
