Here is the weekly review of the top performing Bruins alumni, who are currently playing in pro basketball.
#1. Jaylen Hands, a 26-year-old guard standing at 6'3" who graduated from UCLA in 2019 and received the All-Pac Second Team award that year, currently plays professionally in Spain. In the recent game last Sunday, despite his notable performance, Hands could not assist Universidad Catolica de Murcia CB (21-8) to a victory. They were defeated 131-123 on the road by the formidable Real Madrid, the current champions. Hands contributed 13 points in 21 minutes of play.
Against Real Madrid, Hands displayed his skills with 13 points, 2 rebounds, and 2 assists, delivering an impressive performance on the court. However, his team, Universidad Catolica de Murcia CB, fell short against the reigning champions. Hands' season averages stand at 8.3 points per game, along with 2.0 rebounds and 1.7 assists per game.
#2. Nigerian champion Ike Anigbogu, a 6'10'' forward/center who is 27 years old and an alumnus of UCLA from 2017, currently plays professionally in Italy. Unfortunately, in the recent game last Sunday, Anigbogu couldn't lead Cremona (10-18) to victory as they were defeated 111-88 at home by the higher-ranked Umana Venezia, who currently hold the fourth position in the league standings.
Despite Anigbogu's commendable effort where he achieved a double-double with 12 points, 10 rebounds, and 3 assists in just 24 minutes of play, Cremona was unable to secure the win. With only one more game left in the Regular Season, the upcoming match will be crucial for his team's playoff hopes. This marks Anigbogu's debut season with the team, where he has been averaging 5.8 points and 6.0 rebounds per game.
It is worth noting that Ike Anigbogu, a finalist from Nigeria, has showcased his talent and skills on the court, making significant contributions to his team despite the challenging circumstances.
#3. Johnny Juzang, a 6'5'' guard who graduated from UCLA in 2022 and received the All-Pac First Team award that year, currently plays professionally in Russia. In a recent match against Uralmash, a closely-ranked opponent with a record of 19-21, Juzang played a crucial role in his team's dominant 78-61 victory in the VTB United League. Zenit Saint Petersburg, Juzang's team, holds the third position in the league with a record of 28-12. Juzang's remarkable performance against Uralmash included not only scoring 9 points but also grabbing 2 rebounds and providing 1 assist. His outstanding display of skill and determination ultimately led his team to emerge as the champion of the match.

#4. Serbian Lazar Stefanovic, a 6'7'' guard who is 24 years old and an alumnus of the Bruins from 2025, received the Big Ten All-Sportsmanship Team award that year. Despite his best efforts, Campbell was unable to lead Fraport Skyliners Frankfurt to victory against Telekom Baskets in the German easyCredit BBL. In the game, he managed to score 8 points, grab 6 rebounds, and play for 28 minutes.
The match saw Fraport Skyliners Frankfurt suffering a heavy defeat, with a final score of 104-72 in favor of the higher-ranked Telekom Baskets who are currently at #4 in the league standings. This loss marked Fraport Skyliners Frankfurt's fifth consecutive defeat, highlighting the team's challenges as they approach the end of the Regular Season with only two games remaining.
Despite the tough circumstances, Campbell put up an impressive performance in the game against Bonn, showcasing his skills with 8 points, 6 rebounds, and 1 assist. This season, he has maintained solid statistics, averaging 11.7 points, 1.9 rebounds, and 5.1 assists per game. As Campbell navigates his first season with the team, every upcoming game will be crucial in their quest for success.
#6. Thomas Welsh, a 7'0'' center and 30-year-old Bruins alumni from 2018, currently plays professionally in Japan. Recently, he was unable to lead the Sunrockers Shibuya to victory against the Lakestars.
