Here is the weekly review of the top performing Blue Devils alumni, who are currently playing in pro basketball.

#1. Experienced champion Javier Mojica, a 41-year-old shooting guard standing at 6'3'', graduated from CCSU in 2007 and was the recipient of the NEC Tournament MVP award that year. Currently playing professionally in Puerto Rico, he recently led Vaqueros de Bayamon to a thrilling 94-91 victory over the fifth-ranked Leones (7-9) in the Puerto Rican Baloncesto Superior Nacional. This standout performance earned him the MVP title of the game, showcasing his prowess on the court. In this game, Mojica scored an impressive 14 points in just 27 minutes of play, contributing significantly to his team's success. With his leadership, Vaqueros de Bayamon (11-6) now holds the top position in Group B. Not only did Mojica shine in scoring, but he also grabbed 1 rebound and dished out 2 assists, further proving his value as a finalist. Throughout the season, Mojica has maintained solid statistics, averaging 11.7 points, 2.5 rebounds, and 2.4 assists per game. It is notable that he holds both American and Puerto Rican citizenship, allowing him to compete in Puerto Rico as a domestic player. Mojica's exceptional skills and contributions consistently demonstrate why he is recognized as a champion in the world of basketball.

#2. Nigel Scantlebury, a 6'0'' point guard and 26-year-old Blue Devils alumnus from 2023, currently playing professionally in Slovenia, found himself unable to lead Zlatorog (9-17) to victory in their recent game last Thursday. Despite his stellar performance, Zlatorog fell short, losing 74-73 at home to the higher-ranked Triglav (#5). In the game, Scantlebury stood out as the top scorer with 17 points and contributed 6 assists in just 26 minutes of play. His remarkable display of skills and determination on the court truly exemplified him as a champion, even in the face of defeat. With only one more game left in the Regular Season, Scantlebury's upcoming match carries significant importance for his team. Throughout the season, he has maintained impressive individual statistics, averaging 17.9 points per game (the second-best in the league), along with 2.6 rebounds, 5.8 assists (the fourth-best in the league), and 1.8 steals per game (the third-best in the league). His consistent performance and contribution to the team highlight his prowess as a finalist in the league.

#3. Jordan Jones, a 6'0'' point guard who graduated from CCSU in 2025 and received the All-NEC Player of the Year award that same year, currently plays professionally in Slovakia. Unfortunately, in the recent game last Wednesday, he could not lead the Blue Wings (25-11) to a victory as they were defeated 70-63 on the road by the lower-ranked Slovan (#3). Despite the team's loss, Jones put on a strong performance, finishing as the second-highest scorer with 11 points. He also contributed 5 rebounds and 4 assists during his 35 minutes on the court. His skills were on full display against Slovan, showcasing his scoring ability, rebounding prowess, and playmaking skills. Throughout the season, Jones has maintained impressive individual statistics, averaging 18.1 points per game, 3.8 rebounds per game, 4.0 assists per game, and 1.6 steals per game. His consistent performance highlights him as a standout player in the league.

#4. Jayden Brown, a former Blue Devils alumnus from the class of 2025, currently playing professionally in Australia, was unable to lead Bellarine Storm to victory in their recent game against the McKinnon Cougars last Saturday. Even though he delivered a commendable performance, scoring 14 points and securing 9 rebounds in 32 minutes of play, Bellarine ultimately fell short with a final score of 85-75 to the higher-ranked Cougars who hold the #8 spot in the league standings. Despite the setback, it is worth noting that the season is still in its early stages, leaving room for unforeseen turnarounds in the upcoming games. Brown showcased his skills on the court, demonstrating his scoring prowess, rebounding ability, and playmaking skills by contributing 2 assists in the game against McKinnon. Individually, Jayden Brown is having an impressive season, maintaining high statistics with an average of 17.2 points per game, 10.2 rebounds per game, and 2.2 assists per game. With his consistent performance and valuable contributions, Brown remains a key player to watch as the season progresses, aiming to lead Bellarine Storm to success and solidify his status as a standout player in the league.

#5. French Allan Jeanne-Rose, a 6'7'' forward who is 26 years old and graduated from CCSU in 2024, played a crucial role in helping his team to win the NEC Regular Season Co-Champion title that year. Currently playing professionally in France, Jeanne-Rose recently faced a tough matchup for Gries-Souffel, where despite his commendable performance, the team was narrowly defeated 92-89 on their home court by the lower-ranked Hyeres-Toulon (#13). In the game, Jeanne-Rose showcased his skills by scoring 13 points, grabbing 7 rebounds, and providing 2 assists in 31 minutes of play. With only two games remaining in the Regular Season, each match holds significant importance for the team's standings. Despite his remarkable efforts in the game against Hyeres-Toulon, Jeanne-Rose's team fell short of securing the victory. Throughout the season, Jeanne-Rose has maintained solid averages of 9.9 points per game, 5.6 rebounds per game, and 2.1 assists per game.
