Every week we bring you a list of the top former Flyers players who continue their career in pro basketball.
#1. Scoochie Smith, a 6'3'' guard who graduated from Dayton in 2017, is currently playing professionally in Turkey. Known for his pivotal role in helping Dayton to win the Atlantic 10 Regular Season Champion title in 2017, Smith showcased his skills once again by leading Glint Manisa Basket to a thrilling 91-87 victory over the seventh-ranked Galatasaray in the Turkish ING Basketbol Super Ligi. In this game, he was named the MVP after recording a double-double with 25 points and 13 assists in 38 minutes of play.
Despite Glint Manisa Basket's current 11th place standing in the league with a record of 10-19, Smith's exceptional performance on the court has been instrumental in their success. With only one more game left in the Regular Season, his upcoming game is crucial for the team's standings.
This season marks Smith's debut with Glint Manisa Basket, and he has been delivering solid stats, averaging 11.9 points, 2.7 rebounds, 6.1 assists, and 1.4 steals per game. His outstanding performance against Galatasaray not only showcased his basketball prowess but also solidified his reputation as a champion on the court.
#2. Ibrahim Watson-Boye, a 6'5'' guard/forward who is 28 years old and an alumnus of the Flyers class of 2021, currently plays professionally in Germany. He recently showcased his skills in a game against the 12th-ranked Chemnitz, where his team, Bamberg Baskets, secured an impressive 89-62 victory in the German easyCredit BBL. Watson-Boye played a pivotal role in this win, scoring 10 points, grabbing 4 rebounds, and dishing out 4 assists in just 25 minutes on the court.
Bamberg Baskets, currently placed third in the league with a record of 21-10, extended their winning streak to four games with this victory. With only three games remaining in the Regular Season, each match becomes crucial for the team's final standings.
Watson-Boye's exceptional performance against Chemnitz highlighted his valuable contributions to his team's success, helping them emerge as the champion in that game. His stellar season statistics reflect his strong individual performance, averaging 16.1 points, 4.4 rebounds, and 2.7 assists per game.
#3. In a recent Czech Republic Maxa NBL game, the 29-year-old forward Matej Svoboda, a Dayton graduate currently playing professionally in his home country, showcased his talent by leading ERA Basketball Nymburk to a dominant victory over NH Ostrava. Svoboda's impressive performance saw him contribute 13 points and 4 assists in just 20 minutes of play, helping his team secure a resounding 113-69 win against the eighth-ranked NH Ostrava.
ERA Basketball Nymburk, currently holding the top spot in the Places 1-8 group with a record of 32-4, has been on a winning streak, with this latest triumph marking their sixth consecutive victory. Svoboda's consistent contributions on the court have been pivotal to his team's success, with his season averages of 10.3 points, 2.9 rebounds, and 2.0 assists reflecting his solid performance throughout the season.
In this particular game, Svoboda not only displayed his scoring prowess but also showcased his playmaking ability by recording 4 assists. His all-around performance was instrumental in guiding his team to victory, cementing his status as the champion of the game.
#4. Zed Key, a 6'8'' forward and 24-year-old Flyers alumnus from 2025, proved to be the standout player in Pardubice's recent triumph over the sixth-ranked Srsni Pisek in the Czech Republic Maxa NBL on Friday night. He played a crucial role in his team's 78-74 victory by scoring an impressive 19 points, pulling down 7 rebounds, and making 2 blocks in just 23 minutes of play. This remarkable performance is even more noteworthy considering it is Key's debut season in professional basketball. BK KVIS Pardubice, where Key plays, currently holds the second position in the Places 1-8 group.
Key's exceptional display on the court against Srsni Pisek not only contributed significantly to his team's success but also highlighted his skills as a finalist. With an average of 13.7 points, 6.8 rebounds, and 1.8 blocks per game, Key has been showcasing consistent and impressive stats throughout the season, making him a key player and a force to be reckoned with in the league.
#5. Enoch Cheeks, a 6'3'' guard who is 25 years old and graduated from Dayton in 2025, has been making waves in his first season playing professional basketball in Belgium. Recently, he played a crucial role in Windrose Giants Antwerp's dominant 99-65 victory over the 11th-ranked Spirou Charleroi in the BNXT League. In that game, Cheeks showcased his talent by scoring 14 points, grabbing 7 rebounds, and providing 3 assists in just 22 minutes on the court. This remarkable performance highlighted his potential as a future champion.
Windrose Giants Antwerp, currently sitting at the top of the league with a record of 27-5, has been on a winning streak, with Cheeks being an integral part of the team's success. With only two games remaining in the regular season, every match is crucial for the team as they aim to maintain their position at the summit of the league standings.
Despite it being his first year with the team, Cheeks has been delivering impressive statistics throughout the season, averaging 13.3 points, 5.9 rebounds, 2.3 assists, and 2.2 steals per game – ranking him as the third-best in steals in the league. His talent, combined with his determination and skills, mark him as a true finalist in the making.
It's worth noting that Cheeks is a naturalized American player, adding to his unique background and story as he continues to make a name for himself in the professional basketball scene.
#6. Jalen Crutcher, a 6'2'' guard and 26-year-old alum of the Flyers from 2021, currently plays professionally in Puerto Rico. Recently, he led Leones de Ponce to a decisive 103-92 victory over the sixth-ranked Cangrejeros in the Puerto Rican Baloncesto Superior Nacional. During this game, he showcased his skills and was named the MVP with a remarkable performance. Crutcher not only scored 26 points but also delivered 10 assists, securing a double-double. Additionally, he contributed 4 rebounds in the 34 minutes he played.
In another game against Santurce, Crutcher once again displayed his talent by scoring 26 points, grabbing 4 rebounds, and dishing out 10 assists, ultimately helping his team achieve victory. Experienced Canadian Dyshawn Pierre, a 6'6'' forward aged 32, graduated from Dayton in 2016 where he played a crucial role in helping them clinch the Atlantic 10 Regular Season Co-Champion title that year. Currently playing professionally in Russia, Pierre recently showcased his skills for UNICS in a thrilling VTB United League match against the seventh-ranked MBA Moscow, which resulted in a 74-63 victory for his team. During the game, he demonstrated his versatility by scoring 7 points, grabbing 10 rebounds, and providing 3 assists in 29 minutes of play.
Pierre's exceptional performance against MBA Moscow not only highlighted his individual talents but also significantly contributed to UNICS emerging victorious in the contest. #8. Belgian champion Toumani Camara, a 6'8'' forward aged 25, and a Flyers alumnus from 2023, who received the All-Atlantic 10 First Team award that year, currently plays professionally in the NBA. Recently, he competed for the Portland Trail Blazers against the San Antonio Spurs but unfortunately could not lead his team to victory.
During the game, Camara displayed his skills by scoring 7 points, grabbing 8 rebounds, and providing 2 assists in 33 minutes of gameplay. Despite his commendable performance, the Trail Blazers were ultimately defeated by a significant margin of 19 points, with a final score of 114-95 in favor of the San Antonio Spurs.

Vincent Sanford, a 6'4'' guard who is 35 years old and a graduate of Dayton in 2014, currently playing professionally in France, played a crucial role in FOS Provence Basket's recent triumph over the fifth-ranked Metropolitans with a score of 79-70 in the French Nationale Masculine 1 league (third division) on Friday night. Darrell Davis, a 6'5'' shooting guard and 29-year-old Flyers alumni from 2018, currently playing professionally in Bulgaria, was instrumental in securing an impressive win against the closely-ranked Spartak Pleven, with a final score of 88-65 in the Bulgarian National Basketball League on Wednesday night. In a dynamic 21-minute performance, Davis demonstrated his versatility by contributing 6 points, 6 rebounds, and 3 assists.
His standout display against Spartak Pleven showcased his skills on both ends of the court, ultimately helping his team emerge victorious.
