Skye Owen commits to Florida

University of Florida agreed terms with guard Skye Owen (5'7'') for upcoming 2026-27 season. Staten Island (NY) native played for the last four years at St. John's University. In 6 games last season she had 6.2ppg, 2.0apg, and 1.5spg.
She was one of the highest ranked players in high school in 2022. She graduated from Saint Francis Prep (Fresh Meadows, NY). Owen was also voted to the All-New York City First Team and nominated for McDonald's All-American in 2022.
