We bring you last week's top former Royals players who are currently playing in pro basketball.



   #1. Mike Davis Jr., a 6'4'' guard who graduated from Queens, NC in 2018 and received the All-SAC Second Team award that year, is currently playing professionally in France. In a recent game, he led SIG Strasbourg to a dominant 102-65 victory over Le Portel in the French Betclic ELITE league. Davis Jr. was named the MVP of the game after recording 17 points and 3 assists in just 17 minutes of play. Despite it being his first season with the team, Davis Jr.'s impact has been significant, contributing to SIG Strasbourg's sixth-place position in the league with a record of 17-10. With only four games remaining in the Regular Season, every match is crucial for the team's playoff hopes. Davis Jr. has been having an impressive season individually, averaging 19.0 points, 2.4 rebounds, 2.1 assists, and 1.3 steals per game in the 23 games he has played so far. His stellar performance on the court against Le Portel further solidified his reputation as a true champion, showcasing his skills and leadership abilities.

   #2. Kenny Dye, a 25-year-old 6'0'' point guard and Royals alumni from 2023, currently plays professionally in Romania. Recently, he showcased his skills for CSM Steaua Bucuresti but unfortunately could not lead them to victory in their last game against Brasov, where they were narrowly defeated in overtime 88-85 on the road. Despite the loss, Dye stood out as the top scorer of the game, contributing 27 points along with 4 rebounds and 6 assists in 38 minutes of play. His flawless performance at the free-throw line, going 6 for 6, added to his impressive display on the court. This remarkable performance is especially notable as Dye is only in his third season of professional basketball. Throughout the season, Dye has consistently delivered outstanding performances, reflected in his impressive statistics. He has maintained an average of 16.8 points, 3.5 rebounds, 4.4 assists, and 1.6 steals per game, ranking him among the top players in the league. Despite the challenges faced by his team, Dye's individual accomplishments and contributions have not gone unnoticed, showcasing his talent and potential as a champion in the making.

   #3. Todd Withers, a 29-year-old 6'8'' forward who graduated from Queens, NC in 2018 and was awarded the SAC All-Tournament Team that year, currently plays professionally in New Zealand. In a recent game, Withers was unable to assist the Canterbury Rams (3-1) in securing a victory as they suffered a 99-103 defeat to the lower-ranked (#9) Bulls in Pukekohe. Despite Withers' solid performance of scoring 13 points, grabbing 4 rebounds, and playing for 37 minutes, the Rams experienced their first loss after three consecutive wins. Nevertheless, it is important to note that the season is still in its early stages, and there is potential for the team to bounce back. Withers exhibited an impressive effort against the Bulls, showcasing his versatility by contributing 13 points, 4 rebounds, and 1 assist. His overall performance this season has been commendable, averaging 13.5 points, 4.8 rebounds, and 1.3 steals per game over four matches.

   #4. Jamari Smith, a 6'8'' center/forward and 25-year-old Racers alumni from 2023, spent time playing in Queens, NC between 2018 and 2022 before moving on to play professionally in Hungary. His standout performance saw him earn the prestigious All-SAC Player of the Year award in a previous season. Currently competing in the Hungarian Nemzeti Bajnoksag I/A league, Smith recently showcased his skills in a decisive victory against the second-ranked Alba team, with a resounding final score of 116-78 in favor of his team. In this game, Smith's contribution was pivotal, as he scored 10 points and secured 2 rebounds in just 18 minutes of play. His impact on the court was undeniable, as he played a key role in leading his team to their tenth consecutive victory. This impressive display solidified his reputation as a champion, demonstrating his ability to perform under pressure and deliver when it matters most. Smith's consistent performance throughout the season is reflected in his average of 7.5 points per game and 3.4 rebounds per game across 11 games. His dedication and skill have not only elevated his team's position in the standings, with Atomeromu SE Paks currently placed seventh in the Play-Off group, but have also established him as a finalist who excels in high-stakes situations.

   #5. Brazilian basketball player Leonardo Colimerio, a 25-year-old forward standing at 6'7'' who graduated from Queens, NC in 2025, showcased his skills in the Australian NBL One second division. Playing for the Eltham Wildcats, he played a crucial role in their recent dominating win over the 16th-ranked United team, helping secure a 99-81 victory. In that game, Colimerio displayed his versatility by scoring 9 points, grabbing 6 rebounds, and contributing 2 assists in 27 minutes on the court. The Eltham Wildcats, currently placed third in the South group with a record of 5-2, have been on a winning streak, securing their third consecutive victory. Colimerio's standout performance against Geelong further solidified his impact on the team, as he once again scored 9 points, grabbed 6 rebounds, and dished out 2 assists, leading his team to yet another triumph as the champion. Throughout the season, Colimerio has maintained impressive statistics, averaging 11.7 points, 6.9 rebounds, and 1.9 assists per game across seven games. His contributions on both ends of the court have been instrumental in the Eltham Wildcats' success, making him a key player to watch as they strive for more victories in their quest to become the finalist.

   #6. Jalin Alexander, a 6'3'' shooting guard who graduated in 2018 and currently plays professionally in the ECBL, showcased his skills in a recent game against the Kingdom Life Basketball Club. In a dominant performance, he led the PrimeTime Players to a resounding 157-133 victory. Alexander's impressive stat line included 22 points, 4 rebounds, and 5 assists, highlighting his versatility on the court. Throughout the season, Alexander has maintained high-level performance, averaging 19.9 points, 4.3 rebounds, and 3.9 assists per game over nine matches. His consistent contributions and standout play have solidified his reputation as a champion player in the league.
