Here is the weekly review of the top performing Flyers alumni, who are currently playing in pro basketball.



   #1. Darrell Davis, a 6'5'' shooting guard who graduated from Dayton in 2018 and currently plays professionally in Bulgaria, showcased his skills as he led Cherno More to a resounding 104-87 victory over Shumen, who are struggling in the league with a record of 3-27. In the game held on Saturday night, Davis put up an impressive stat line of 16 points, 5 rebounds, and 4 assists in just 26 minutes of play. Cherno More Ticha Varna, with a solid record of 22-8, currently holds the third position in the league standings. Davis' performance contributed significantly to his team's success, marking their third consecutive win. With only two games remaining in the Regular Season, every match now becomes crucial for the team's final standings. Davis has been a key player for Cherno More, averaging 8.4 points, 3.1 rebounds, and 3.3 assists per game in the nine games he has played this season. His consistent contributions on the court demonstrate why he is a champion in the making.

   #2. Scoochie Smith, a 6'3'' guard and 31-year-old Flyers alumni from 2017, played a crucial role in helping his team secure the Atlantic 10 Regular Season Champion title that year. Currently playing professionally in Turkey, Smith recently faced a tough matchup where his team, Glint Manisa Basket, fell short against Petkimspor with a score of 87-100 on the road. Despite his commendable performance, contributing 15 points, 4 rebounds, and 9 assists in 34 minutes, the team could not secure the win. With only two games remaining in the Regular Season, every upcoming match is of utmost importance for Smith and his team. Despite the loss against Petkimspor, Smith displayed an impressive performance, reaffirming his value as a key player for his team. Throughout the season, he has maintained solid statistics, averaging 11.4 points, 2.8 rebounds, 5.8 assists, and 1.4 steals per game in the 28 games he has participated in so far. As the season progresses, Smith's contributions will be vital in determining the team's success in their quest for victory.

   #3. Belgian champion Toumani Camara, a 6'8'' forward who is 25 years old and graduated from Dayton in 2023, currently plays professionally in the NBA. He recently showcased his skills in a remarkable game where the Portland Trail Blazers achieved a surprising victory over the San Antonio Spurs, with a final score of 106-103. In this game, Camara notably scored 10 points, grabbed 9 rebounds, and made 1 assist in 35 minutes of play. Despite the Portland Trail Blazers having a somewhat modest 42-39 record this season, Camara's exceptional performance against the San Antonio Spurs demonstrated his value on the court.    #4. Enoch Cheeks, a 25-year-old guard standing at 6'3'' and a former Flyers alumnus from 2025, is currently making waves as a professional basketball player in Belgium. Recently, he played a key role in Windrose Giants Antwerp's impressive 97-78 victory against the 11th-ranked ZZ Leiden in the BNXT League. Cheeks showcased his skills by scoring 15 points, grabbing 6 rebounds, providing 4 assists, and making 3 steals during his 31 minutes on the court. This remarkable performance is even more noteworthy considering it is only his first season in professional basketball. With Windrose Giants Antwerp holding the top spot in the league with a record of 25-5, Cheeks' impact has been significant, especially as his team secured their third consecutive win. As the regular season is nearing its end, each game becomes crucial for the team's standings and playoff aspirations. Despite this being Cheeks' debut year with the team, his consistent contributions and standout performances have established him as a champion player. Cheeks has maintained impressive statistics throughout the season, averaging 13.3 points, 5.9 rebounds, 2.2 assists, and 2.2 steals per game, ranking him as the third-best in steals in the league. His remarkable skills on the court have not gone unnoticed, further solidifying his reputation as a finalist player. Additionally, it is worth noting that Cheeks is a naturalized American, adding to the diversity and talent he brings to the team.

   #5. In a recent Greek Stoiximan Basketball League match, the talented Greek player, Kostas Antetokounmpo, who stands at 6'10'' and plays as a center, showcased his skills and prowess on the court. Antetokounmpo, a 27-year-old graduate of Dayton University, currently playing professionally in Greece, made a significant impact in Aris' triumph over Panionios, the league outsider, with a final score of 75-65. During the game, Antetokounmpo demonstrated his versatility by scoring 6 points, grabbing 4 rebounds, and delivering 3 blocks in 27 minutes of play. His exceptional performance was instrumental in leading Aris Betsson Thessaloniki to victory, breaking a streak of three consecutive losses for his team. As the team currently holds the fifth position in the league with a record of 14-10, every game becomes crucial with only three matches remaining in the Regular Season. Antetokounmpo's consistent contributions on the court, averaging 6.7 points, 4.6 rebounds, 1.3 assists, 3.0 blocks, and 1.1 steals per game in nine appearances this season, highlight his capabilities as a champion player. Antetokounmpo's dedication to his team and his exceptional performance in key moments underscore his importance as a key player for Aris, demonstrating his potential to make a significant impact as they strive for success in the league.

   #6. Jalen Crutcher, a 6'2'' guard and 26-year-old Flyers alumnus from 2021, has been excelling in professional basketball in Puerto Rico. Recently, he showcased his talent by leading Leones de Ponce to a remarkable victory against the second-ranked Capitanes with a score of 116-108 in the Puerto Rican Baloncesto Superior Nacional. In this game, Crutcher displayed his skills by achieving a double-double, scoring 21 points, and making 11 assists, while also contributing with 4 rebounds during his 45 minutes on the court. In another impressive performance against Arecibo, Crutcher once again stood out by scoring 21 points, collecting 4 rebounds, and distributing 11 assists, ultimately guiding his team to a win. With an average of 14.1 points, 3.1 rebounds, and 5.4 assists per game in seven games this year, Crutcher has been a key player for his team. His exceptional contributions have reinforced his reputation as a champion in the league.

   #7. Experienced champion Devin Oliver, a 6'8'' power forward aged 33, who graduated from Dayton in 2014 and received the All-Atlantic 10 Third Team award that year, currently plays professionally in Japan. In a recent game, despite Oliver's notable performance, he was unable to lead the Saitama Broncos (39-13) to victory, as they suffered a heavy defeat of 108-89 at the hands of the lower-ranked (#6) Dice in Tachikawa. Despite the team's loss, Oliver demonstrated his skills by being the top scorer with 20 points, grabbing 7 rebounds, and providing 3 assists in just 29 minutes of play. His individual performance was impressive against Tachikawa, showcasing his talent and contribution to the team. Throughout the season, Oliver has maintained high statistics, averaging 15.4 points per game, 8.4 rebounds per game, 3.7 assists per game, and 1.7 steals per game in 54 appearances. Despite the challenges faced by the Saitama Broncos in their last game, Oliver's consistent performance throughout the season highlights his value as a champion player.

   #8. Jordan Sibert, a 6'4'' guard and 33-year-old Flyers alumnus from 2015, who received the All-Atlantic 10 First Team award that year, currently plays professionally in Portugal. Recently, he competed for Oliveirense against Vitoria SC but unfortunately could not lead his team to victory. Despite his commendable effort, contributing 8 points and 3 assists in just 22 minutes of play, his team ultimately fell short with a score of 74-84. Sibert showcased a stellar performance in the game, demonstrating his skills with 8 points, 1 rebound, and 3 assists. His impressive individual performance was notable, even though his team did not emerge victorious against Vitoria SC. Throughout this season, Sibert has maintained solid statistics, averaging 13.6 points, 2.9 rebounds, 2.3 assists, and 1.4 steals per game across 22 appearances.

   #9. Vincent Sanford, a 6'4'' guard who is 35 years old and a graduate of Dayton in 2014, currently plays professionally in France. In a recent game, he played a significant role in helping FOS Provence Basket secure a victory against the 13th-ranked Les Sables with a score of 83-68 in the French Nationale Masculine 1, which is the third division of basketball in France. Despite only scoring 4 points and providing 4 assists in 24 minutes of play, Sanford's performance was crucial in the team's success. His overall contribution of 4 points, 3 rebounds, and 4 assists was instrumental in leading his team to victory as the champion of the game. Throughout the current season, Sanford has been averaging 8.7 points, 4.0 rebounds, 4.0 assists, and 1.2 steals per game in nine appearances.

   #10. Serbian player Alexandre Gavrilovic, a 34-year-old finalist and former Tigers alumnus from 2015, showcased his skills for Onvo Buyukcekmece Basketbol in a recent game against Erokspor. Despite his efforts, Gavrilovic could not lead his team to victory, as they suffered a 67-79 loss. In the match, he contributed 4 points and 2 rebounds in 19 minutes of play. Throughout the current season, Gavrilovic has been averaging 7.0 points per game and 3.8 rebounds per game in eight appearances. Notably, he possesses a French passport in addition to his Serbian nationality.
