We bring you last week's top former Lobos players who are currently playing in pro basketball.
#1. Jaelen House, a 6'0'' point guard who graduated from New Mexico in 2024 and now plays professionally in China, recently had a standout performance despite his team's loss to the Guangsha Lions. In the game, Beijing Royal Fighters fell short with a score of 104-117, despite House putting up impressive numbers. The 24-year-old guard managed to achieve a double-double, scoring 44 points, grabbing 11 rebounds, and providing 6 assists in 39 minutes of play. This remarkable performance is even more notable considering it is only House's second season in professional basketball.
Although Beijing Royal Fighters suffered their first loss after three consecutive victories, House's exceptional efforts did not go unnoticed. His outstanding display on the court earned him an Elite Badge from eurobasket.com, cementing his reputation as a true champion. As the Regular Season nears its end, House and his team have one crucial game left to play.
Individually, Jaelen House has been having a strong year, boasting high statistics with an average of 15.3 points, 3.1 rebounds, and 4.4 assists per game in the 17 games he has participated in so far. His consistent performance and contributions to the team's efforts showcase his potential as a future champion in the making.
#2. Experienced champion Alex Kirk, a 6'11'' center and 34-year-old Lobos alumnus from 2014, who helped them win the MWC Tournament that year, is currently playing professionally in Japan. Recently, he led the Ryukyu Golden Kings Okinawa to a resounding victory against the fifth-ranked NeoPhoenix with a score of 102-82 in the Japanese B1 League on Saturday night.
In that game, Kirk showcased his skills by scoring 19 points, grabbing 6 rebounds, and making 2 blocks in 35 minutes of play. The Ryukyu Golden Kings Okinawa, with a record of 39-17, currently holds the fourth position in the West group standings. With only four games remaining in the Regular Season, each match is crucial for the team's playoff aspirations.
During a recent game against San-en NP, Kirk once again displayed an outstanding performance by contributing 19 points, 6 rebounds, and 2 assists to secure the victory for his team. His consistent and impactful displays on the court have been instrumental in leading his team to success.
Throughout this season, Kirk has maintained solid statistics, averaging 10.5 points, 6.4 rebounds, and 1.5 assists per game in the 56 games he has played so far. It is noteworthy that Kirk holds both American and Japanese citizenship, allowing him to play in Japan as a domestic player, which has been beneficial for his career in the league.
#3. Nigerian player Nelly Joseph, a towering center standing at 6'10'' and 24 years old, graduated from New Mexico in 2025 after helping them secure the MWC Regular Season Champion title that year. In a recent matchup against the underperforming Saint-Quentin team with a 7-20 record, Joseph contributed 8 points in 21 minutes of play, but unfortunately, his team suffered a significant defeat, losing 109-87 on the road.
Despite the challenging loss, Joseph showcased his skills on the court by scoring 8 points, securing 2 rebounds, and providing 2 assists against Saint-Quentin. With only four games remaining in the Regular Season, each upcoming match becomes crucial for SIG Strasbourg's playoff hopes.

Snell's contributions on the court were commendable, yet they were not enough to secure a victory for his team.
As the Regular Season nears its end with only three games remaining, each upcoming match becomes increasingly crucial for Boulazac. Snell's consistent efforts throughout the season have been reflected in his average of 8.2 points per game and 2.7 rebounds per game across 23 games played this season. Although the recent loss was disappointing, Snell's determination and skills as a champion remain evident as he continues to strive for success alongside his team.
