Every week we bring you a list of the top former Spartans players who continue their career in pro basketball.

#1. Moira Joiner, a 25-year-old graduate from Michigan State University in 2024, stands tall at 5'10'' and plays as a versatile guard/forward for a professional team in Spain. Despite her remarkable basketball skills, she was unable to lead Ferrol to victory in their recent game against Araski, where they suffered a disappointing 86-66 defeat on the road. Joiner was the standout performer of the match, showcasing her scoring prowess by leading her team with 23 points in 32 minutes of play. As the Regular Season nears its end, Joiner and her team have only one more crucial game left to play. This season marks Joiner's debut with the team, and she has been making a significant impact with solid statistics averaging 12.5 points, 4.2 rebounds, and 2.0 assists per game. Despite her individual success, she understands the importance of teamwork and will be looking to rally her teammates for a final push to secure a favorable outcome in their upcoming critical match.

#2. Canadian Shaylisha Colley, a 30-year-old champion standing at 5'9'' and an alumna of Spartans from 2020, currently plays professionally in the Czech Republic. In a recent match last Wednesday, Colley, a standout finalist, unfortunately could not lead Zabiny Brno (17-5) to victory. Despite her commendable effort, Zabiny Brno, placed second in the league with a record of 17-5, suffered a crushing 85-57 defeat at home against the leading team, USK Praha. Colley showcased her skills on the court by scoring 11 points, grabbing 3 rebounds, and providing 2 assists during the game against USK Praha. However, even with her impressive performance, Zabiny Brno was unable to overcome the dominant USK Praha team and secure the win. Throughout this season, the talented Colley has been maintaining solid averages of 9.9 points, 3.3 rebounds, and 2.7 assists per game, demonstrating her consistent contribution to the team's performance on the court.

#3. Nia Clouden, a 5'9'' guard who is 25 years old and graduated from Michigan State in 2022, is currently playing professionally in Switzerland. In a recent game, she unfortunately could not lead Fribourg (20-1) to victory as they were defeated 93-81 by Nyon, the second-ranked team in the league. Despite the loss, Clouden showcased an impressive performance by scoring 41 points, grabbing 7 rebounds, and dishing out 3 assists during her 39 minutes on the court. Clouden's remarkable display against Nyon earned her an Elite Badge from eurobasket.com, solidifying her status as a champion player in the game. Throughout the season, Clouden has maintained high statistics, averaging 22.8 points per game (leading the league), along with 4.2 rebounds, 3.4 assists, and 1.8 steals per game. Her consistent performance highlights her as a standout finalist in the league.

#4. Jocelyn Tate, a 5'10'' guard/forward and Spartans alumna from the class of 2025, showcased her skills while playing professionally in the United Kingdom for Nottingham Wildcats. In a recent game against the Rebels, who hold the #4 spot in the league standings, Tate's team unfortunately suffered a loss despite her commendable performance on the court. During the game, Tate displayed her versatility by achieving a double-double with 12 points and 15 rebounds. Additionally, she contributed 5 assists and 2 blocks during her 30 minutes of play. Even though Tate put up impressive numbers, Nottingham Wildcats fell short and were defeated 81-70 by the Rebels. As the Regular Season comes to a close, Tate's team has one more crucial game ahead. This marks Tate's debut season with the team, and she has been a consistent performer throughout the season. Her season averages of 9.5 points, 7.5 rebounds, 3.3 assists, and 2.5 steals per game rank her as the fourth-best player in the league in terms of steals. Despite the outcome of the game against the Rebels, Tate's exceptional performance earned her the Triple-Double Badge from eurobasket.com, highlighting her as a standout champion on the court.

#5. Experienced champion Jasmine Thomas, a 5'9'' point guard at 34 years old who graduated from Michigan State in 2013 and received the Big Ten All-Tournament Team award that year, currently plays professionally in Mexico. In the recent game last Thursday, Thomas, a finalist, unfortunately could not lead Correcaminos (3-10) to victory as they were defeated 84-77 on their home court in Ciudad Victoria by the higher-ranked Freseras (#6). Despite her very good performance, where she was the second best scorer with 17 points in 32 minutes, Correcaminos fell short against Freseras. With only three games remaining in the Regular Season, every match becomes crucial for the team. In the matchup against Freseras, Thomas showcased an impressive display by contributing 17 points, 3 rebounds, and 1 assist. Nevertheless, her outstanding efforts were not enough to secure the much-needed win for her team.
