We bring you last week's top former Broncos players who are currently playing in pro basketball.



   #1. Spanish Marta Hermida, a 28-year-old guard standing at 5'11'' who graduated from Boise State in 2019, has been making waves in the professional basketball scene in Spain. Notably, Hermida played a crucial role in helping Boise State to clinch the MWC Regular Season Champion title in 2019. Currently, she is showcasing her talent in the Spanish Liga Femenina Endesa, representing Avenida. In a recent match against Gran Canaria, a team struggling in the league with a record of 3-25, Hermida's team emerged victorious with an impressive 91-59 win. In her debut game for Avenida this season, Hermida demonstrated her skills by scoring 10 points and securing 4 rebounds in just 20 minutes of play. Despite it being her first year with the team, she showcased her prowess on the court, contributing significantly to her team's success. Avenida currently holds the fourth position in the league standings, with only one more game left in the Regular Season, making every upcoming match crucial for them. Hermida's performance against Gran Canaria highlighted her capabilities as a champion player, displaying her scoring ability and impact on the game. As the team gears up for their final game of the Regular Season, Hermida's presence and skills will undoubtedly be essential in their quest for success.

   #2. French Elodie Lalotte, a 6'1'' forward and Broncos alumna from 2025, is currently playing professionally in Spain and recently led ISB to a crucial victory against the 14th-ranked Paterna with a score of 84-80 in the Spanish Liga Femenina Challenge, which is the second division in the league. In this game, Lalotte showcased her skills by scoring 13 points and securing 4 rebounds in just 27 minutes of play. These contributions were instrumental in securing the win for her team. Currently, Domusa Teknik ISB, Lalotte's team, holds the eighth position in the league with a record of 13-16. With only one more game left in the Regular Season, Lalotte's upcoming performance will be vital for her team. This marks Lalotte's debut season with the team, and her impact has been significant, with an average of 6.7 points per game and 7.9 rebounds per game, ranking her as the fourth-best in the league in terms of rebounds. Lalotte's exceptional performance against Paterna highlighted her abilities as a champion player, and her consistent contributions throughout the season have been key to her team's success. As the season progresses, all eyes will be on Lalotte as she aims to lead ISB to further victories and solidify her position as a standout finalist in the league.

   #3. Spanish champion Laia Soler, a 25-year-old standing at 6'1'' who graduated from Boise State in 2020 and played a vital role in their MWC Tournament victory that year, now competes professionally in Spain. Recently, she contributed to Lima-Horta Barcelona's triumph over the closely-ranked Al-Qazeres with a score of 71-63 in the Spanish Liga Femenina Challenge (second division) on Sunday night. Despite only scoring 2 points in 21 minutes of play, Soler's overall performance was impactful. Lima-Horta Barcelona, currently positioned ninth in the league with a record of 13-16, secured their fifth consecutive win under her leadership. With just one more game left in the Regular Season, the upcoming match is crucial for the team. This marks Soler's debut season with Lima-Horta Barcelona. In the recent game against Al-Qazeres, she managed to score 2 points, grab 3 rebounds, and provide 1 assist, all of which were instrumental in her team's victory, leading them to emerge as the champion. Throughout the season, Soler has maintained an average of 4.6 points per game and 5.3 rebounds per game, making her the league's leader in the latter category.

   #4. Riley Lupfer, a 5'9'' guard and Boise State Broncos alumni from 2020, was instrumental in helping her team become the champion of the MWC Tournament that year. Currently playing professionally in Australia, Lupfer recently competed for the Nunawading Spectres in the Australian NBL One North, the second division of the league. Despite her best efforts, Lupfer's team was unable to emerge victorious against the Thunder, with Lupfer contributing 6 points in 25 minutes of play. In a tough matchup on the road, the sixth-placed Nunawading Spectres suffered a 70-53 defeat at the hands of the Thunder, who were ranked seventh in the South group. The loss was a setback for Lupfer and her team, but it's important to remember that the season is still in its early stages, leaving room for improvement and potential turnarounds. Lupfer's individual performance has been impressive throughout the season, showcasing her talent on the court. She has been averaging 15.8 points per game, along with 3.5 rebounds and 2.7 assists, highlighting her all-around skills and contribution to the team. Despite the recent loss, Lupfer's strong play and consistent performance bode well for her and the Nunawading Spectres as they aim to bounce back and make a mark in the league.

   #5. New Zealand champion Gabriella Fotu, a 29-year-old guard standing at 5'9" who graduated from Boise State in 2016 and currently plays professionally in Australia, played a key role in leading the Albury Wodonga Lady Bandits to a decisive 75-53 victory over the 13th-ranked Hills Hornets (1-3) in the Australian NBL One North, which is the second division league, on Saturday night. Despite scoring only 3 points and providing 4 assists in 24 minutes of play, Fotu's contributions were instrumental in the team's success. The Albury Wodonga Lady Bandits, with a record of 2-2, currently hold the tenth position in the East group standings. Fotu's standout performance against the Hills Hornets included 3 points, 2 rebounds, and 4 assists, showcasing her all-around skills on the court. Her impressive performance and statistics were crucial in securing the victory for her team, ultimately earning her the title of champion of the game. Throughout the season, Fotu has been averaging 2.3 points per game, 3.0 rebounds per game, 3.5 assists per game, and 2.0 steals per game, demonstrating her versatility and impact on the team.
