Every week we bring you a list of the top former Rams players who continue their career in pro basketball.
Notice impressive performance of Ignas Sargiunas (18 points), Nique Clifford (24 points), and David Roddy (15 points).

#1. Lithuanian player Ignas Sargiunas, a 6'5'' shooting guard at 26 years old, who graduated from Colorado State in 2021 and currently plays professionally in Lithuania, recently found himself unable to lead Rytas to victory in their latest game. Despite his notable performance, where he contributed 18 points in 32 minutes of play, Rytas suffered a significant 107-90 loss on the road to the lower-ranked (#4) Siauliai. Sargiunas, the team's second-highest scorer in the game, displayed his skills by scoring 18 points, grabbing 2 rebounds, and providing 1 assist. Unfortunately, his individual efforts were not enough to steer Rytas to a win, resulting in their first loss following a three-game winning streak. Throughout the season, Sargiunas has maintained solid statistics, averaging 13.3 points, 2.7 rebounds, 2.6 assists, and 1.5 steals per game, which ranks him as the second-best in the league in steals. In the 23 games he has participated in so far, Sargiunas has consistently showcased his talent and contributed to his team's performance.

#2. Nique Clifford, a 6'6'' guard and 24-year-old Rams alum from 2025, who was awarded the All-MWC All-Tournament MVP that year, is now playing professionally in the NBA for the Sacramento Kings. In their recent game against the Portland Trail Blazers, despite Clifford's remarkable performance, the Kings (22-59) were unable to secure a win, ultimately losing 110-122. Clifford proved to be a standout player for the Kings, finishing as the team's second top scorer with 24 points, along with contributing 7 rebounds and 5 assists in 39 minutes of play. This impressive display is particularly noteworthy considering that this is Clifford's debut season in professional basketball. As the NBA Regular Season has already concluded, Clifford's stats for the year stand at 8.7 points per game, 3.8 rebounds per game, and 2.4 assists per game across the 74 games he has participated in so far.

#3. David Roddy, a 6'5'' guard/forward who graduated from Colorado State in 2022 and was named the All-MWC Player of the Year, is currently playing professionally in the NBA. In a recent game on Sunday night, Roddy showcased his skills by leading the Denver Nuggets to a 128-118 victory over the San Antonio Spurs, who had a 62-21 record. Despite the Nuggets having a somewhat weak 53-28 record this season, Roddy's performance was exceptional. During the game, Roddy recorded a double-double with 15 points and 13 rebounds in 34 minutes of play. This impressive display contributed significantly to his team's 12th consecutive victory. His all-around contribution, including 2 assists, was pivotal in securing the win for the Nuggets. Roddy's stellar performance against the San Antonio Spurs earned him the Triple-Double Badge from eurobasket.com, further solidifying his reputation as a champion player. With solid statistics of 8.0 points per game and 4.0 rebounds per game in the five games he has played this season, Roddy continues to make a mark in the NBA as a standout player and a formidable finalist.

#4. Kris Martin, a 6'5'' guard who is 28 years old and an alum of Rams from 2020, currently playing professionally in Montenegro, recently showcased his talent in a game for Sutjeska. Despite his outstanding performance, where he emerged as the top scorer with 22 points, along with contributing 7 rebounds and 4 assists in 32 minutes of play, Sutjeska unfortunately suffered a 77-90 defeat to the lower-ranked #6 team, TFT, in Skopje. This loss marked Sutjeska's first defeat after enjoying three consecutive victories. It is worth noting that this is Martin's debut season with the team, and he has been delivering impressive performances throughout. In the game against TFT, he displayed his skills by scoring 22 points, grabbing 7 rebounds, and providing 4 assists. Individually, Martin is having a remarkable season, averaging 15.4 points, 3.3 rebounds, 2.5 assists, and 1.5 steals per game in the 12 games he has participated in so far. His consistent high-level performance and contributions on the court demonstrate his value as a key player for Sutjeska, despite the recent setback in the match against TFT.

#5. Joel Scott, a 6'7'' power forward aged 24 who graduated from Colorado State in 2024 and now plays professionally in the United Kingdom, was unable to assist the London Lions (24-6) in their recent game. Despite his solid performance, the league-leading London Lions were narrowly defeated 95-92 in Chester by the second-ranked Cheshire Phoenix. Scott, in only his second season in professional basketball, managed to score 15 points and secure 7 rebounds in just 19 minutes of play, showcasing his potential. This loss marked the end of London Lions' nine-game winning streak, highlighting the competitive nature of the league as the Regular Season nears its conclusion with only two games remaining. As Scott continues to acclimate to his new team in his first year, his contributions on the court have been notable, with an average of 13.3 points per game and 5.3 rebounds per game across 22 appearances this season. Despite his individual success, the focus now shifts to the team's performance in the remaining crucial games as they aim to maintain their position as champions.
