Here is the weekly review of the top performing Delta Devils alumni, who are currently playing in pro basketball.
#1. Experienced Falando Jones (6'4''-SF-1990, played in 2008-12, plays pro in Syria) could not help Al Wahda (0-1) in their game last Thursday. Despite his good performance Al Wahda was defeated 89-80 on the road by the second-ranked Al Riyadi.
Jones was the second best scorer with 13 points. He also added 4 rebounds and dished 5 assists in 31 minutes. It was his first game for Al Wahda this season.
It's Jones' first year with the team.
#2. Michael Green (6'3''-G, played in 2018-20, plays in Albania) was not able to help Fieri in their game against Skenderbeu (4-2) in the Albanian Superliga, despite his very good performance in Sunday night's game.
He was the top scorer with 34 points.
But Fieri was crushed106-83 in Korce by the higher-ranked (#4) Skenderbeu.
It was Fieri's third consecutive loss in a row.
Green's team will play only one more game in the Regular Season. And that game will be critical.
