EuroBasket Pro Demon Deacons Weekly Update

Here is the weekly review of the top performing Demon Deacons alumni, who are currently playing in pro basketball.
#1. Codi Miller-McIntyre (6'3''-PG-1994, played in 2012-16, plays pro in Serbia) led his Serbian team Crvena zvezda to a victory over the eighth-ranked Panathinaikos (5-4) 86-68 in the Euroleague in Wednesday night's game.
He was MVP of the game. Miller-McIntyre scored 14 points, had 9 rebounds and dished 7 assists in 33 minutes.
KK Crvena zvezda Meridianbet Beograd (7-2) is placed first in the Euroleague.
It was his team's seventh consecutive victory in a row.
But this is still an early stage of the season and everything may happen.
Miller-McIntyre has relatively good stats this year 14.3ppg, 4.1rpg and 6.8apg in nine games he played so far.
He is a naturalized Bulgarian.
#2. Jaylen Hoard (6'9''-PF-1999, played in 2018-19, plays in Israel) could not help Maccabi Playtika Tel-Aviv (2-7) in their last game on Thursday. Despite his very good performance Maccabi Playtika Tel-Aviv was defeated 112-107 on the road by the much higher-ranked Monaco (#4).
Hoard recorded a double-double by scoring 16 points and getting 10 rebounds.
But the season just started, so everything may happen.
Hoard has relatively good stats this year 12.7ppg, 6.3rpg and 1.4apg.
He is a naturalized French.
#3. Jake LaRavia (6'9''-G/F-2001, played in 2021-22, currently in the NBA) contributed to a Los Angeles Lakers' victory against the Miami Heat (6-4) 130-120 in the NBA on Sunday night.
He recorded 25 points, 8 rebounds, 3 assists and 4 steals in 35 minutes.
The Los Angeles Lakers have a solid 7-3 record this season.
It was his team's fifth consecutive victory in a row.
But the season is still in its first stage and everything can happen.
LaRavia has individually a very good year with high stats. He averages 12.2ppg, 5.2rpg, 2.7apg and 1.5spg in 10 games.
#4. Experienced C.J. Harris (6'3''-SG-1991, played in 2009-13, plays pro in Greece) was not able to help Peristeri (3-2) in their last game on Saturday. Despite Harris' very good performance Peristeri was badly defeated89-72 in a derby game by the leading Panathinaikos.
He was the top scorer with 16 points. Harris also added 4 rebounds (went 7 for 7 at the free throw line).
But the season is still in its first stage and everything can happen.
Harris has relatively good stats this season 10.2ppg, 2.0rpg, 2.4apg and 1.4spg.
#5. Kostas Mitoglou (6'11''-F/C-1996, played in 2014-18, plays in Greece) faced previously mentioned C.J. Harris in the Greek GBL last game.
Mitoglou helped Panathinaikos win their game against the closely-ranked Peristeri (3-2) 89-72 in a derby game.
He scored 7 points and grabbed 8 rebounds in 25 minutes.
But the season is still in its first stage and everything can happen.
Mitoglou has relatively good stats this year 13.0ppg, 7.2rpg and 1.4spg in five games.
#6. John Collins (6'9''-PF-1997, played in 2015-17, currently in the NBA), who plays in the NBA was not able to secure a victory for the Los Angeles Clippers (4-5) in their last game on Saturday. Despite his very good performance the Los Angeles Clippers were defeated 114-103 in Phoenix by the Suns.
Collins was the second best scorer with 19 points. He also added 4 rebounds.
This season Collins has very high stats. He averages 13.3ppg and 4.9rpg.
Collins is a naturalized Virgin Islander.
#7. Brandon Childress (6'0''-G-1997, played in 2016-20, plays pro in Turkey) couldn't help Bursaspor Basketbol (0-4) in their last game. Despite Childress' good performance Bursaspor Basketbol lost 68-79 in Badalona to the leading Joventut.
He had a double-double by scoring 14 points and making 11 passes. Childress also added 7 rebounds in 33 minutes.
Childress has relatively good stats this year 13.1ppg, 3.1rpg and 4.9apg in seven games.
#8. Isaiah Mucius (6'8''-F-1999, played in 2018-22, plays in Poland) was the main contributor in an Anwil Wloclawek's victory against the league leader Braunschweig 84-65 in the FIBA Europe Cup last Tuesday.
Mucius was MVP of the game. He recorded 15 points, 6 rebounds and 2 blocks.
This season Mucius has very high stats. He averages 16.0ppg, 5.0rpg and 1.2apg.
#9. Tyree Appleby (6'1''-PG-1998, played in 2023-23, currently in Greece) was the major contributor in Mykonou's victory against the closely-ranked Maroussi 77-75 in the Greek GBL on Sunday night.
He scored 12 points and added 4 assists in 28 minutes.
Appleby has relatively good stats this year 12.8ppg, 2.8rpg, 5.4apg and 2.0spg in five games.
#10. Bryant Crawford (6'3''-PG-1997, played in 2015-18, plays pro in Turkey) is a teammate of previously mentioned Brandon Childress. But that was another game of his team in Turkish BSL which we would like to mention.
Crawford couldn't help Bursaspor Basketbol (1-1) in their last game on Saturday. Despite his good performance Bursaspor Basketbol was defeated 84-70 in a derby game by the higher-ranked Tofas (#6).
Crawford was the top scorer with 13 points. He also added 5 assists.
This season Crawford averages 8.1ppg, 1.6rpg and 3.9apg.
