Here is the weekly review of the top performing Hawkeyes alumni, who are currently playing in pro basketball.

#1. Megan Gustafson (6'4''-C-1996, played in 2015-19, plays pro in Turkey) led her Turkish team Fenerbahce to an easy victory against the closely-ranked Miskolc (0-4) crushing them 113-65 in the Euroleague on Wednesday night. She recorded 14 points in 21 minutes. It was the game of the round between two top 4 ranked teams. Fenerbahce Spor Kulubu Istanbul (4-0) is placed first in the Euroleague. So far her team won all four games in the Regular Season. There are only two games left until the end of the Euroleague Regular Season. So now every game will be critical. Gustafson has relatively good stats this season 11.5ppg, 4.5rpg and 1.5apg. She is a naturalized Spaniard.

#2. Lucy Olsen (5'10''-G-2003, played in 2024-25, plays in Australia) could not help one of league's weakest teams Townsville Fire (2-1) in their last game. Despite her very good performance Townsville Fire lost 83-89 on the road to the second-ranked Southside Flyers. Olsen was the second best scorer with 22 points. She also added 5 assists (went 6 for 6 at the free throw line); quite an impressive performance considering it's only Olsen's first season in pro basketball. But this is still an early stage of the season and everything may happen. It's Olsen's first year with the team. This season she averages 10.0ppg, 1.7rpg, 2.7apg and 2.0spg in three games she played so far.
