We bring you last week's top former Badgers players who are currently playing in pro basketball.
#1. Julie Pospisilova (6'0''-G-1999, played in 2019-23, plays pro in France) was the major contributor in BLMA's victory against the closely-ranked Ragusa (0-3) crushing them 100-54 in the Eurocup in Thursday night's game.
She scored 15 points, had 5 rebounds and dished 5 assists in 29 minutes; quite an impressive performance considering it's only Pospisilova's third season in pro basketball. It was the game of the round between two top 4 ranked teams. Basket Lattes Montpellier Agglomeration (3-0) is placed first in the Eurocup.
So far her team won all three games in the Regular Season.
There are only three games left until the end of the Eurocup Regular Season. So now every game will be critical.
Pospisilova has relatively good stats this year 12.7ppg, 5.0rpg, 4.7apg and 3.3spg in three games she played so far.
#2. Experienced Raelin D'Alie (5'4''-PG-1987, played in 2006-10, plays in Italy) led San Martino to a victory over the league outsider Battipaglia (0-4) 71-65 in the Italian Serie A1 last Sunday.
She was MVP of the game. D'Alie scored 14 points, made 4 passes and 3 steals.
Alama San Martino di Lupari (1-3) is placed eighth in the Serie A1.
But this is still an early stage of the season and everything may happen.
This year D'Alie averages 10.0ppg, 4.8rpg, 4.5apg and 2.0spg.
She is a naturalized Italian.
#3. Lovisa Djurstrom (6'4''-F/C-2001, played in 2020-22, currently in Sweden) contributed to Hogsbo's victory against the closely-ranked Ostersund (2-3) 72-65 in the Swedish Damligan on Saturday night.
She recorded 12 points, 4 rebounds and 3 blocks in 25 minutes.
Hogsbo Basket Goteborg (4-2) is placed fifth in the Damligan.
It was her team's fourth consecutive victory in a row.
But the season just started, so everything may happen.
It's Djurstrom's fourth year with the team.
This season Djurstrom averages 8.7ppg, 5.8rpg and 1.5apg in six games.
