EuroBasket Pro Coyotes Weekly Update

Every week we bring you a list of the top former Coyotes players who continue their career in pro basketball.
#1. Mayuom Buom (6'10''-F-2001, played in 2023-25, plays pro in Bulgaria) contributed to a Spartak Pleven's victory against the closely-ranked Balkan (1-0) 78-70 in the Bulgarian NBL on Sunday night.
He scored 8 points and grabbed 4 rebounds in 16 minutes.
It was the game of the round between two top 4 ranked teams. BC Spartak Pleven (2-1) is placed fourth in the NBL.
But this is still an early stage of the season and everything may happen.
It's Buom's first year with the team.
This season Buom averages 6.0ppg and 3.7rpg.
#2. Tyler Peterson (6'4''-G-1998, played in 2016-20, plays in Lithuania) led Nevezis to a victory against the closely-ranked Siauliai (3-4) 107-93 in the Lithuanian LKL in Sunday night's game.
Peterson scored 16 points.
Kedainiu Nevezis-Optibet (2-4) is placed seventh in the LKL.
It was his team's first victory after three consecutive loses.
But the season just started, so everything may happen.
This year Peterson averages 9.3ppg, 1.8rpg and 3.5apg in four games he played so far.
#3. Tasos Kamateros (6'8''-F-2000, played in 2019-23, currently in Greece) helped Lavrio win their game against the closely-ranked Aigaleo (0-3) 91-78 in the Greek Elite League (second division) last Saturday.
Kamateros scored 8 points in only 14 minutes.
GS Lavrio Aegean Cargo (1-2) is placed tenth in the Elite League.
But the season is still in its first stage and everything can happen.
It's Kamateros' first year with the team.
This season he averages 8.3ppg and 1.7rpg.
#4. Felix Brostrom (6'8''-F-2003, played in 2022-24, plays pro in Sweden) helped BC Lulea edge the sixth-ranked Sodertalje (3-3) 79-78 in the Swedish Basketligan on Thursday night.
Brostrom scored 7 points and grabbed 7 rebounds.
BC Lulea (5-2) is placed second in the Basketligan.
It was his team's fourth consecutive victory in a row.
But the season is still in its first stage and everything can happen.
Brostrom has relatively good stats this year 11.1ppg, 6.7rpg and 1.7apg in seven games.
#5. Mihai-Nicolae Carcoana (6'11''-F-2002, played in 2022-23, plays in Romania) could not help the league outsider Targu Jiu (0-6) in their game last Saturday. Despite his good performance Targu Jiu was badly defeated88-72 at home by the leading Rapid.
Carcoana scored 10 points and grabbed 4 rebounds in only 13 minutes.
There are only three games left until the end of the Regular Season. So now every game will be critical.
This season Carcoana averages 4.5ppg and 2.8rpg.
#6. Jay Harvey (6'9''-F-1996, played in 2018-19, currently in Albania) helped Fieri win their game against one of league's weakest teams Pogradeci 89-72 in the Albanian Superliga last Sunday.
He scored 7 points and grabbed 16 rebounds.
This year Harvey averages 3.7ppg and 7.7rpg in three games.
#7. Rich Polanco (6'8''-F-1997, played in 2019-19, plays pro in Dominican Republic) was the major contributor in a Puerto Plata's victory against the closely-ranked Bonao 80-75 in the Dominican Rep. LDC (fourth division) on Wednesday night.
Polanco scored 20 points, had 8 rebounds and dished 7 assists in 33 minutes.
Polanco has individually a very good season with high stats. He averages 17.7ppg, 8.0rpg and 6.3apg.
#8. AJ Plitzuweit (6'2''-G-1999, played in 2023-24, plays in Spain) was not able to help LBC Cocinas in their game against Moron in the Spanish Segunda FEB (third division), despite his very good performance in Sunday night's game.
Plitzuweit was the top scorer with 20 points. He also added 5 rebounds.
But his team lost 78-89.
Plitzuweit has relatively good stats this year 12.8ppg, 3.5rpg and 2.5apg in four games.
#9. Nikola Zizic (6'11''-F-2000, played in 2020-22, currently in Spain) helped Sant Antoni edge the seventh-ranked Albacete 99-98 in the Spanish Segunda FEB (third division) last Saturday.
Zizic recorded 13 points and grabbed 4 rebounds in 21 minutes.
This season Zizic averages 8.7ppg and 3.7rpg.
