EuroBasket Pro Seminoles Weekly Update

We bring you last week's top former Seminoles players who are currently playing in pro basketball.



   #1. Makayla Timpson (6'2''-F-2002, played in 2021-25, plays pro in Czech Republic) led USK Praha to an easy victory against the closely-ranked Chomutov (2-1) crushing them 100-35 in the Czech Republic ZBL on Saturday night. She recorded 17 points and grabbed 5 rebounds in 20 minutes. It was her first game for USK Praha this season; quite an impressive performance considering it's only Timpson's first season in pro basketball. Her team is placed sixth in the ZBL. But this is still an early stage of the season and everything may happen.

   #2. Nausia Woolfolk (5'9''-G-1998, played in 2016-20, plays in Greece) was the major contributor in Olympiacos' victory against the closely-ranked Miskolc (1-3) 69-57 in the Euroleague in Thursday night's game. She scored 12 points, made 8 passes and 3 steals. It was the game of the round between two top 4 ranked teams. Olympiacos Piraeus (1-1) is placed third in the Euroleague. There are only four games left until the end of the Euroleague Regular Season. So now every game will be critical. Woolfolk has relatively good stats this year 14.5ppg, 3.5rpg, 7.5apg and 3.0spg in two games she played so far.

   #3. Maria Conde (6'1''-F-1997, played in 2015-17, currently in Italy) led her Italian team Schio to an easy victory against the closely-ranked Sopron (0-2) 82-65 in the Euroleague last Thursday. Conde scored 12 points and added 3 passes in 28 minutes. It was the game of the round between two top 4 ranked teams. Beretta Famila Schio (1-1) is placed third in the Euroleague. There are only four games left until the end of the Euroleague Regular Season. So now every game is very crucial. Conde has relatively good stats this season 14.5ppg, 3.0rpg and 3.5apg.

   #4. Shakayla Thomas (6'0''-PF-1996, played in 2014-18, plays pro in France) led her French team Charnay to a victory against the closely-ranked PolskaStrefaInwestycji Enea Gorzow Wielkopolski (1-1) 84-70 in the Eurocup on Wednesday night. She scored 15 points and grabbed 6 rebounds (was perfect 5-for-5 from the free throw line). It was the game of the round between two top 4 ranked teams. Charnay Basket Bourgogne SUD (1-1) is placed third in the Eurocup. There are only four games left until the end of the Eurocup Regular Season. So now every game will be important. Thomas has relatively good stats this year 12.0ppg, 5.5rpg and 1.5apg in two games.

   #5. Experienced Jacinta Monroe (6'5''-F/C-1988, played in 2006-10, plays in Russia) contributed to an easy victory against the closely-ranked Sparta&K (2-2) crushing them 76-55 in the Russian PBL in Monday night's game. Monroe scored 13 points and grabbed 4 rebounds in a mere 19 minutes. Nadezhda Orenburg (4-1) is placed fourth in the PBL. It was her team's fourth consecutive victory in a row. But the season just started, so everything may happen. It's Monroe's first year with the team. This season she averages 7.8ppg, 3.2rpg and 1.2spg.

   #6. Alexis Tucker (5'11''-G/F-2001, played in 2023-24, currently in Serbia) led ZKK Spartak Subotica to a victory over the closely-ranked Vojvodina 021 86-76 in the Serbian 1 ZLS last Saturday. She was MVP of the game. Tucker scored 20 points and grabbed 4 rebounds. She has individually a very good year with high stats. Tucker averages 15.7ppg, 4.3rpg and 1.3apg in three games.

   #7. Leticia Romero (5'8''-G-1995, played in 2014-17, plays pro in Spain). Romero could not help Valencia to beat Fenerbahce. She scored 6 points, grabbed 6 rebounds and dished 12 assists in 35 minutes. Her team was edged 75-72. This season Romero averages 7.0ppg, 3.5rpg and 10.5apg.

   #8. Brittany Brown (5'8''-PG-1995, played in 2013-17, plays in Poland) contributed to Poznan's victory against the closely-ranked Sosnowiec 84-78 in the Polish OBLK in Sunday night's game. She scored 6 points and added 5 passes. This year Brown averages 7.5ppg, 4.5rpg, 6.0apg and 3.0spg in two games.

   #9. Sara Bejedi (5'7''-G-2000, played in 2020-24, currently in Turkey) contributed to Botas' victory against the closely-ranked Kayseri 85-76 in the Turkish KBSL last Saturday. Bejedi scored 12 points and added 5 passes in 31 minutes. This season she has very high stats. Bejedi averages 15.5ppg, 4.0rpg, 5.0apg and 2.0spg.

   #10. Adut Bulgak (6'4''-C/F-1992, played in 2012-16, plays in Spain) contributed to a 2-point AzulMarino's victory against the 11th-ranked Adareva 56-54 in the Spanish LF Challenge (second division) in Saturday night's game. She scored 8 points and grabbed 10 rebounds in 23 minutes. This season Bulgak averages 5.0ppg and 9.7rpg. She has also Canadian passport.
