Every week we bring you a list of the top former Cougars players who continue their career in pro basketball.
#1. Borislava Hristova (6'0''-F-1996, played in 2016-20, plays pro in Romania) led Sf.Gheorghe to a victory over one of league's weakest teams Brasov (2-4) crushing them 104-54 in the Romanian Liga Nationala on Saturday night.
She was MVP of the game. Hristova recorded 24 points and added 3 passes in a mere 16 minutes.
ASC Sepsi SIC Sfantu Gheorghe (4-0) is placed first in the Liga Nationala.
So far her team won all four games in the Regular Season.
There are only three games left until the end of the Regular Season. So now every game will be critical.
Hristova has relatively good stats this season 15.0ppg, 4.0rpg and 2.5apg.
#2. Pinelopi Pavlopoulou (5'8''-G-1996, played in 2014-18, plays in Greece) contributed to an easy victory against the tenth-ranked Eunikos (1-5) 87-71 in the Greek A1 in Sunday night's game.
She had a double-double by scoring 11 points and making 10 passes. Pavlopoulou also added and 3 steals.
Panathinaikos Athens (6-0) is placed first in the A1.
So far her team won all six games in the Regular Season.
But this is still an early stage of the season and everything may happen.
This year Pavlopoulou averages 9.5ppg, 2.8rpg, 6.3apg and 1.7spg in six games she played so far.
