We bring you last week's top former Bulls players who are currently playing in pro basketball.
#1. Dominique Jones (6'4''-G-88, graduated '10, plays pro in China) led Guangxi to a victory over the fifth-ranked Hunan (11-5) 103-91 in the Chinese NBL (second division) on Friday night.
He was MVP of the game. Jones recorded a double-double by scoring 37 points and getting 11 rebounds. He also added 6 assists and 5 steals in 47 minutes.
Guangxi Weizhuang (15-0) is placed first in the NBL.
So far his team won all fifteen games in the Regular Season.
Jones has individually a very good season with high stats. He averages 28.1ppg, 6.9rpg, 9.5apg and 2.4spg.
#2. Isaiah Manderson (6'10''-F-94, graduated '18, plays in Puerto Rico) could not help Indios de Mayaguez (18-18) in their last game. Despite his good performance Indios de Mayaguez lost 83-88 on the road to the higher-ranked (#3) Vaqueros.
Manderson was the second best scorer with 14 points. He also added 6 rebounds and made 2 blocks; quite an impressive performance considering it's only Manderson's first season in pro basketball. This year Manderson averages 7.5ppg and 4.6rpg in 17 games he played so far.
#3. Jarrid Famous (6'10''-C/F-88, graduated '11, currently in Puerto Rico) was not able to help Cariduros de Fajardo in their game against Leones (21-15) in the Puerto Rican BSN.
Famous scored 7 points, grabbed 7 rebounds and dished 4 assists in 28 minutes.
Cariduros de Fajardo was defeated 109-94 in Juana Diaz by the leading Leones.
Famous has relatively good stats this season 12.7ppg, 7.7rpg and 1.3apg.
He is a naturalized Lebanese.
#4. Experienced Melvin Richardson (6'9''-F-85, graduated '07, plays pro in Dominican Republic) was not able to secure a victory for Los Prados (2-6) in their game against Huellas Del Siglo (6-1) in the Dominican Rep. TBS (fourth division). His contribution was not very remarkable in Sunday's game.
Richardson scored only 2 points and blocked 2 shots.
Los Prados lost 87-95 to the leading Huellas Del Siglo.
It was Los Prados' third consecutive loss in a row.
There are only two games left until the end of the Regular Season. So now every game will be critical.
This year Richardson averages 9.9ppg and 3.7rpg in seven games.
