EuroBasket Pro Bulls Weekly Update

Here is the weekly review of the top performing Bulls alumni, who are currently playing in pro basketball.



   #1. Dominique Jones (6'4''-G-88, graduated '10, plays pro in China) led Guangxi to a victory over the closely-ranked Shaanxi Xinda (10-2) 111-106 in the Chinese NBL (second division) in Friday night's game. He was MVP of the game. Jones had a double-double by scoring 36 points and making 10 passes. He also added 9 rebounds in 39 minutes. It was the game of the round between two top 4 ranked teams. Guangxi Weizhuang (12-0) is placed first in the NBL. So far his team won all twelve games in the Regular Season. Jones has individually a very good year with high stats. He averages 28.0ppg, 7.1rpg, 9.7apg and 2.3spg in 11 games he played so far.

   #2. Jarrid Famous (6'10''-C/F-88, graduated '11, plays in Puerto Rico) could not help Cariduros de Fajardo (0-1) in their last game on Sunday. Despite his very good performance Cariduros de Fajardo was crushed 118-90 on the road by the leading Leones. Famous was the top scorer with 20 points. He also added 7 rebounds. It was his first game for Cariduros de Fajardo this season. Famous is a naturalized Lebanese.

   #3. Isaiah Manderson (6'10''-F-94, graduated '18, currently in Puerto Rico) was the major contributor in an Indios de Mayaguez's victory against the closely-ranked Vaqueros (20-16) 94-90 in the Puerto Rican BSN on Friday night. Manderson recorded 16 points and grabbed 6 rebounds in 21 minutes; quite an impressive performance considering it's only his first season in pro basketball. Indios de Mayaguez (18-18) is placed sixth in the BSN. It was his team's fifth consecutive victory in a row. This year Manderson averages 7.1ppg and 4.6rpg in 16 games.

   #4. Experienced Melvin Richardson (6'9''-F-85, graduated '07, plays pro in Dominican Republic) contributed to a 1-point Los Prados' victory against the league outsider Rafael Barias (0-3) 91-90 in the Dominican Rep. TBS (fourth division) in Sunday night's game. Richardson scored 11 points. Los Prados de Santo Domingo (2-3) is placed fifth in the TBS. Richardson has relatively good stats this season 12.2ppg and 5.2rpg.
