Every week we bring you a list of the top former Panthers players who continue their career in pro basketball.
#1. John Brown III (6'7''-F-92, graduated '16, plays pro in Italy) could not help Happy Casa BR (18-12) in their game last Sunday. Despite his very good performance Happy Casa BR was defeated 81-76 at home by the lower-ranked Dolomiti En. TR (#6).
Brown III was the second best scorer with 15 points. He also added 7 rebounds and dished 3 assists in 31 minutes.
There are only two games left until the end of the Regular Season. So now every game will be critical.
Brown III has relatively good stats this season 14.4ppg, 6.7rpg and 1.5apg.
#2. Experienced Akeem Scott (6'1''-SG-83, graduated '06, plays in Mexico) was not able to help Venados de Mazatlan (12-12) in their last game. Despite his very good performance Venados de Mazatlan lost 77-86 on the road to the leading Rayos de Hermosillo.
Scott was the top scorer with 29 points. He also added 4 boards, passed 7 assists and added 4 steals.
Scott has individually a very good year with high stats. He averages 22.3ppg, 6.3rpg, 6.4apg and 3.4spg in 17 games he played so far.
Scott is a naturalized Jamaican.
Scott is a former Eurobasket Summer League player, which is considered top summer league for players who want to play basketball overseas.
#3. Eugene Harris (6'2''-PG-86, graduated '10, currently in Bulgaria), who plays in the Bulgarian NBL was not able to secure a victory for Rilski (13-11) in their game last Sunday. Despite Harris' very good performance Rilski was defeated 84-77 on their home court in Samokov by the leading Levski Lukoil.
He scored 15 points, had 4 rebounds and dished 4 assists in 37 minutes.
It's Harris' first season with the team.
Harris has relatively good stats this year 11.1ppg, 2.2rpg and 3.8apg.
#4. Arizona Reid (6'5''-F-86, graduated '08, plays pro in Switzerland) couldn't help Monthey (2-3) in their last game. Despite Reid's very good performance the fourth-placed Monthey (2-3) was badly defeated 89-71 on the opponent's court by the leading Fribourg in the Places 1-6 group.
He was the top scorer with 24 points. Reid also added 4 rebounds.
It's Reid's first season with the team.
He has very impressive stats this year 18.0ppg, 8.0rpg, 3.2apg and 1.2spg in 24 games.
Reid is a naturalized Armenian.
